Breakfast Topic: The Eternal Stairway {WoW}

Mar 8th 2010 1:11PM WoW is limitless in its own way.
WoW follows a timeline, which has different periods which have both a beginning and an end. So Just like in real world, something new will start and just like that it will end with another something starting.

There is always and end point, like defeating the Lich King - That is the end-point of this game, but like I said, on a timeline, Blizzard can create a new beginning (Cataclysm) or continue the current period.

There could've been more Warcraft RTS games, just like The Frozen Throne came after Reign of Chaos, and more and more until Blizz screws with it and does something else.

P.S. I'm a bit tired, so what I said might copy itself or make less sense than it should...

The Daily Blues {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2010 9:15AM I'll be honest and say I actually half-enjoyed Call of Whatever quests on my second shaman. Now, I never thought I'd miss the cool places the NPCs were put in, no matter how far they are from each other, and fighting the elementals that nobody but me will see.

And the places where I fought the elementals, also give me the feeling like there is a connection between our Azeroth and the Elemental Planes.

I hope shamans will still have totems quests, but this time more epic and less of a time-wasting running that does not even have any relation to shaman understandings about elements. And I hope they will fund our long travels somehow.
I was losing gold and time doing them, I would have rather run a nice my level dungeon with friends instead.

Just my thoughts.

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for warlocks {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2010 1:44PM That is because PvE is as simple and dumb as these articles are.

Waiting for downvotes.

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for warlocks {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2010 1:06PM They're so many that I sometimes think my eyes are playing tricks on me.

New race/class combos will not be live before Cataclysm {WoW}

Feb 28th 2010 3:16PM Orc Mages are just as stupid as Orc Warlocks.

Warlocks are Mages who got power greedy and corrupted by their powerful magic trying to become more powerful.

Any race with Warlocks could have Mages.

New race/class combos will not be live before Cataclysm {WoW}

Feb 28th 2010 2:09PM People ho say no to the official combos need to use some logic here.

Trolls are shamanistic, trolls are related to bests, hence, beast slaying racial. They also use nature magic, which is used by both Shamans and Druids.
They are also familiar with voodoo magic, which can make transformations...

For NE Mages you need to look at their past and from what they have become Night Elves.

Race/Class combos I think we wont see judging by the current state in Warcraft and lore:
Tauren Warlocks (I mean, they'd have to be Mages first. Anyway, the impossible demon cow.)
Draenei Druids (Dwarves did find their liking in nature, but not Draenei. Yet.)

There are more, of course, but I just don't want to list them, really.

And currently, I want to see a Tauren Rogue the most.

Also, when I see Blizzard Europe contests, there is never my country there even though I live in the country that is the geographical center of Europe.

Here, I never get the good stuff of the world I can drool over through internet. *sob*

WoW Rookie: Effective movement and camera use {WoW}

Feb 25th 2010 2:38PM For Targeting AoEs like Flare, Volley, Blizzard etc. is even more important to be bound to a key than single target abilities like Aimed Shot, Sinister Strike, Fire Blast if just because you also have to mouse click where you want to attack.

While your finger is sweeping to the button on your keyboard that has Volley bound to it, for example, you can simultaneously position your mouse cursor just where you want it to be. Afterwards, if you don't click the mouse to let off the ability, you can still cearly and precisely aim, rather than sliding your cursor from the middle of the screen to the ability, then back to the top of your screen where the target is.

In your way of doing that, in the process you are actually thinking about the ability, then applying your thoughts on moving the AoE circle back to the target. That takes roughly 4-6 times longer, depending on the situation.

Jan 26th 2010 7:22AM Do not raise the white flag yet, my Warlock brothers!
No.. burn it! Our victory is yet to come!
We will get the last laugh. Just like we do when we die and Soulstone after they die from our Curses.
