Feb 1st 2012 6:27PM Will Blizzard ever release an 'in game time' card for WoW? I used to play regularly, so a sub was right for me. But my girlfriend would often only have time to play one night in an entire month, then she'd have a stack of free time where she'd play every night for a week, then it'd be another few weeks or months with no time again. She ended up unsubbing because it wasn't worth it for her, but if she could for example pay £15 for a full 24 hours worth of in game play time, which she could spend in a single 24 hour sitting (dear God!) or over 3-4 months of the occasional few hours grabbed here and there that would be ideal for her, and would mean I could level my alt with her again.
Sep 2nd 2011 1:21PM I believe it was to do with the perceived reasons for recruiting friends. Certainly every one of my friends who made use of it were at max level on their mains, and the new player wanted to reach max level as soon as possible to be able to play alongside them in the top level dungeons and raids. Those people who actually wanted to experience the levelling process together 'properly' didn't bother with RaF.
Aug 23rd 2011 12:30PM I stand corrected. For some reason I have gone all this time from the Cata launch thinking that BWL had been wiped as part of the world redesign...
Aug 23rd 2011 12:13PM I want to get the Judgement set now, but as I understand it with the raid gone i'm stuffed :'(
May 19th 2011 1:40PM Lefty here. Got me a Razer Lachesis here. I was worried about spending that much on a mouse, but I gotta say it's the best mouse i've ever owned by far. I love it. For reference, if you check about the different types of grip on Razer's website, I use a fingertip grip. I would have quite liked to get the left handed version of the DeathAdder, but I couldn't find anywhere in Europe that sold it :(
Mar 2nd 2011 6:27PM I'm assuming not. People have done the maths on EJ and such and worked out that Divine Storm is only effective as DPS over Crusader Strike if you're hitting 4/5+ targets anyway, so on less than that you should be single targetting with Crusader Strike to get your Holy Power.
Feb 28th 2011 11:25AM Is this in the opinion of other PuGers, or of the Blizzard LFG system? I hit 85, made sure I finished up all the quests in the high level zones to get the highest possible ilevel quest gear, ground to Revered rep with the factions that had the best stuff for me and have dailies (took less than a week after all the quest rep for completing Deepholm & Twilight Highlands) so I could get a few bits of revered-level gear, did a few normal dungeons till i'd got maybe 4 or 5 drops spread between both my tanking and DPSing sets, and was able to group for heroics. Are you trying to jump straight into heroics without doing the dungeons on normal and getting normal level drops first, and without grinding any rep? Blizzard has designed things this time around so that you can't just jump straight into heroic mode. They want you to get some practise on normals first. I still have a few rep items I want from exalted level with some factions that don't have dailies, and i've not bought a single badge item yet.
Feb 11th 2011 11:02AM i've yet to dare trying one. I'm a tank, I don't mind wiping when I or the healer or the DPS are learning, but I don't know all of the heroic bosses well enough to step in and get called crap or told to hurry up if I have to go check wowhead for strats or whatever. I'll PuG as DPS, and i'm patient and happy to help people learn if I know something they don't seem to, but for my own tanking and learning purposes I take at least a guildy healer I trust, and 1 guildy DPS who knows how to interrupt/cc etc. We have on occasion PuGed the remaining 2 DPS, and if they have issue with us taking longer cos we're learning the instance, they can drop group and we'll get 2 more as replacements in seconds.
Feb 8th 2011 11:24AM "Is there anywhere to re-watch in-game cutscenes other than leveling a new character?"
Surely all of them are up on YouTube in 720p high quality goodness by now?
Jan 7th 2011 7:28AM So does that mean that, post 4.1, new 80s hitting Hyjal will be doing all new quests in a healed zone? Or is it simply that they're adding further quests in a new phase for people have have completed the zone?
I'd be quite disappointed if friends of mine who haven't yet got to 80 (and due to sporadic playtimes probably won't before 4.1 is released) don't get to quest through the current Hyjal, and I can't imagine Blizz wants to throw away all the work they put into it so quickly...
