Mists of Pandaria Beta: New archaeology items {WoW}

Mar 27th 2012 2:36PM Woah, everyone pay close attention to the description of the Cracked Mogu Runestone. Symbols similar to those of the Titans? Mogu are experts of flesh shaping magics? I'm thinking we might be getting some more information on the Curse of Flesh in Mists.

Though I'd be excited to hear more about the Curse, I would be kind of disheartened to hear that Mogu are afflicted Titan constructs (which might also open the door to the "Sha being Old Gods" reveal we're all worried about).

Mists of Pandaria Beta: Where to find wild pets in the Eastern Kingdoms {WoW}

Mar 26th 2012 6:17PM Just had a thought: when someone is in a pet battle with something in the wild, will they just appear standing there to everyone else? If so, then rogues should be ecstatic for Mists.

Does Garrosh Hellscream deserve to die? {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 3:57PM I hope we get Thorie's idea, with Thrall having us spare Garrosh, but as he is leaving Vol'jin fulfills his promise and puts an arrow in his back. Maybe Thrall will try to comfort Garrosh as he dies, maybe Garrosh will laugh that he underestimated the troll, or maybe he'll just die instantly (unlikely). Regardless, Thrall will then have some harsh words for Vol'jin, who'll state something about although he respects Thrall and is his friend, he will stand up for his own beliefs in spite of his loyalty to Thrall.

Of course this will all be a cinematic like Arthas or Deathwing. I really hope something like this happens so Vol'jin will get some spotlight time. And I haven't forgotten about Varian, I just don't really know how he'll fit in.

Mists of Pandaria Beta: New Ragefire Chasm video {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 3:31PM People upset about Garrosh going the fel route are really getting on my nerves because they are forgetting something really crucial; yes, he doesn't like demons or those that mess with fel magics because it goes against everything his father fought against, and that's just it. Grom did drink demons blood, but he also eventually overcame it. So let's think about this again; Garrosh knows that his father, who he now looks up to and aspires to be like, was in the end able to overcome the demons. Why wouldn't Garrosh believe that he could as well? Especially knowing that it is possible and that he is the son of Orc who did so.

This isn't an argument about Garrosh succumbing to fel corruption, it's him flat out KNOWING that it's in his genes to overcome demonic influence (and absolutely NO ONE can deny that, which is what wil make the details of this story so compelling).

Pandaren lore and what we know so far {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 7:55PM I know it makes sense, but I never really considered this before reading this article; shouldn't playable pandaren culture be almost ENTIRELY different from the ones on Pandaria? They've been separated for 10,000 years right? I know it's unlikely, but it'd be really cool if this was brought up somewhere. I mean when the Draenei finally see Argus again (in whatever expansion that will be) there will be a lot that remember what the planet used to look like, what with their nigh immortality. For these pandaren, enough time has elapsed that Pandaria could have easily become a myth by now, unless Blizzard throws us a curve ball by making pandarens incredibly long lived as well.

All this doesn't even bring up the Sha; if these beings of negative emotion are what haunt Pandaria and keep them pacified, meditative, etc, do they also exist on the turtle? If not, then shouldn't playable pandaren be less concerned with violence and self restraint? If this is the case, then monks from the turtle (and thus all the monks they teach the other races) would have very different ideals from the ones on Pandaria. Then again, all this considered, I guess it might help make it more believable that they would pick a side in the Horde/Alliance conflict.

Wow, long winded rant over, I guess I just hope Blizzard has thought of this. I feel like this is really good fodder for some interesting story development between the pandaren themselves.

Blue Posts: (More) LFR loot rules clarification, item squish, DotA-style BG, spoilers {WoW}

Mar 19th 2012 11:34PM Wow guys, TWO links from blues today! Guess you all can stop adding "if anyone from Blizzard sees this" in your wish list/suggestion articles.

Seriously, good job getting shout outs. That's a sign of true quality :)

The Queue: You'll have to move fast {WoW}

Mar 10th 2012 5:31PM Q4tQ: has Blizzard mentioned their plans for regents in MoP? Have they decided to just get rid of them yet? I have payed much attention to spells in the updated calculators; do the tooltips mention regents still?

Ghostcrawler discusses Mists of Pandaria buff and debuff design {WoW}

Mar 8th 2012 10:20PM After seeing them right next to each other like this, couldn't they consolidate debuffs even more by combining "Weakened Armor" and "Physical Vulnerability"? Don't they basically do the same thing? I never really noticed this before now.

WoW Meets Nintendo: Make your group stand out with transmogrification {WoW}

Mar 8th 2012 5:26PM This actually really made me wish I could transmog "nothing" on my shaman (and eventually my monk). I'd love to run around as a shirtless maniac, punishing enemies with my fists (think Bruce Lee).

Of course this would lead to a bunch of people transmogging themselves naked, but hey, I certainly wouldn't mind being a crazy nudist wielding fish for a raid or two.

Leeroy Jenkins appears on The Daily Show {WoW}

Mar 8th 2012 3:27PM Jeennnnnnkinnnnsssssssss!!!!!!
