Mar 6th 2012 5:40PM That's a good point actually.
Mar 6th 2012 3:50PM This certainly gives people the incentive to come back to the game, but on the other hand, if you haven't been playing since, say, middle of Wrath, and your friend invites you back, and you get a level 80 ... Well, I don't envy someone who hasn't seen any of the changes in Cataclysm jumping right into the deep end trying to play a level 80.
I guess that's why it's optional!
No, if only I had a former player friend. All my friends that don't already play are still yet to be pulled in, and stubbornly evading my fish hook.
Mar 5th 2012 11:47AM In the mage tower in Stormwind, there are two big purpley portals. One takes you into the room with the trainers. The other, at the end of that room, takes you... where? Every time I go into Stormwind (not nearly as much as I should, as I'm primarily Horde) I jump through it in the hope it'll take me somewhere, but I'm always disappointed. Does it even have a purpose?
Mar 5th 2012 8:13AM ME HEAL. ME HEAL ANYTHING. GOOD HEALS.
I'm not really bothered about strategic healing, or the lack of it. Perhaps I'm a bad healer, but I don't see any vast difference between the Cataclysm tiers, healing wise. Or maybe that's just because I'm too busy concentrating on my raid frames that I'm oblivious to anything else.
Yeah, I guess I'm just a bad healer.
Mar 3rd 2012 8:12AM I have a few friends on my RealID list who play Alliance, and there are some who would rather play Alliance but stay on Horde because it means they get to do things with us. I personally have no one on my RealID who isn't someone that I have a pretty decent friendship with, so as far as I'm concerned, it wouldn't be a bad thing removing faction lines for RealID friends only. Keeping them there only prevents friends from playing with each other - or keeps people playing a side they don't enjoy just so they can play with those friends. Which I don't think is fair.
Mar 2nd 2012 6:33PM My taste in music generally revolves around classical / progressive rock / symphonic metal etc, but occasionally I come across trance and dance that I like. This is one of those occasional occurrences, and I love the video as well. It makes me wish I had a huge screen on my wall so I could watch it in a dark room while winding down in bed to sleep.
Mar 1st 2012 6:26PM At first I was like: :|
Then I was like: :)
Then at the end I was like: :D
Yeah, whatever. In other words, made me smile until the end joke when I lol'd.
Mar 1st 2012 4:01PM How do you arrange it so pressing one button on one keyboard makes each of the toons cast?
Mar 1st 2012 8:08AM I'm actually not quite sure whether it would sell me. Considering I wasn't sold on the game until I started playing the trial, it possibly may not have done. My opinion of the game back before I installed the trial out of sheer boredom was that it was just a childish pastime for nerds who needed to get a life. I have a feeling this trailer, with its portrayal of orcs, would have just backed up that opinion.
On the other hand, I would also have been intrigued by the walking corpses, and landscapes.
Feb 29th 2012 8:21AM For me, has to be the drawings of the Gilnean buildings:
and such. I've always had a love of architectural drawings and sketches, and I just fell in love with those as soon as I saw them.
