Fact or Fiction: The Horde attracts the more mature player {WoW}

Nov 7th 2006 8:43AM @ 40.... You're quoting... what are you quoting?

*temples pounding*

I've played both sides to multiple 60's. Neither one is better than the other.

Nov 7th 2006 8:29AM Vent/Teamspeak is a necessity for raids, but not necessarily guilds in general.

How else would you tell the rogue to get the $*#@ away from the tail or stay out of the #@*!ing whelp caves in the middle of a fight?

Nov 6th 2006 7:13AM So, what do hunters get that will counter this?

Oct 25th 2006 8:41AM Dark Solace(H-Skullcrusher) is still planning to kick down the BWL door this week... even if there are going to be better items come expansion. We still need the raid experience for the 25 man instances when they hit the radar.

The extension of the release just gives us more time to work at that. We're not after the purples at this point, we're after the experience.

True, the starting lvl 60-61 blues are as good as the epics from BWL. However, it will be a little bit easier for those with T2-T3 to quest in outland in the first moments of it's opening (Not that it will be hard anyway). And coming from a PVP server as I am... there will be ganking going on. Better to be in T2 than level 54-59 greens and blues when that happens.

Oct 24th 2006 3:09PM "I, however, am trying to reserve apocalyptic judgments until we've gotten a better feel for how this change will play with expansion encounters."

This doesn't change the fact that some will still want to do "the game's long boss encounters" and will still need high outputs of mana with a low mana pool. I would imagine they're not going to make every boss only last 4 minutes... Kharazan will probably have bosses more on the lines of the 10-15 minute T3-T4 boss kills. If so... our mana pot costs are going up... without ways of conserving it somehow.

Oct 23rd 2006 1:17PM I'm still banking on Q4. Mainly because my brain will explode if I have to wait any longer.

Oct 23rd 2006 8:42AM I stick with those my own level... but I do kill any 60 Alliance I see in most areas. Unless it's in an "unmarked safe-zone" like the Plaguelands farms, then I camp them if they attack me first.

Oct 19th 2006 9:51AM I played SWG first for about a year and was pretty into it until WoW came out. I completely gave up SWG for Wow. However, after getting my Dwarf hunter toon up to lvl 47, and hearing the constant groaning about class abilities, nerfs and Horde... not to mention a guild that made it's members sit in specific, perfectly aligned spots for guild meetings... I lost interest.

Guild Wars came out... it looked interesting so I bought it and played that through a few times (I never really enjoyed the pvp parts of these games, only the story).

When I met my wife I stopped playing everything alltogether, but started up again when City of Heroes came out... though I only played the "trial". City of Heroes didn't interest me at all beyond the character creation screen.... and I thought back to what I used to have fun playing, World of Warcraft.

I grabbed the box, dusted it off, and haven't stopped since. I now have 2 60's (UD Priest, Tauren Hunter) and even got the wife interested (Tauren Druid). Oh, and I still haven't gone back to look at that boring old Dwarf hunter...
