Oct 13th 2011 1:45PM I was more impressed by this than the video
Oct 7th 2011 2:08PM I wonder how this will work on items that are more vague in their itemization. I can't think of a particular item, but something that has say mastery and expertise. Im guessing it would be a dps item since dps have more use of expertise, than say, my warrior tank.
Oct 6th 2011 11:30AM WARNING there will be spoilers from Thrall: Twilight Of The Aspects in this post..please stop reading now if you do not wish for any spoilage
From what i remember of the book, it took the 4 aspects to kill Chromatus, with the help of Thrall(getting them in synch with each other). When they got in synch they became more powerful, i believe they shimmered and there breath attacks were bright white (or something). They defeated Chromatus, but could not destroy his body. They agreed to hold him in one of those blue dragon flight magic prison things. Watched over by members of the 4 current good flights.
To even bring Chromatus back to life the Twilight father had used re-directed lay line energies and a surge needle. To be a raid boss the bad guys would have to 1) steal back Chromatus' body 2)redirect lay line energies to another place because the twilight cult doesnt own Wyrmrest temple anymore 3) active them (this took the blood of malygos son in the book, duno if you have to use his bloodline or not)
In addition to all of that...how the heck would we be able to kill it? As i said it took the 4 aspects + Thrall to bring him down. We would need the help of the Aspects, and if they are helping us why not just do it themselves?
Sorry for lengthy post
Oct 4th 2011 11:01AM That is my favorite episode of Dr. Who
Sep 27th 2011 1:36PM I did not wake up in the 70s, the school I attend still offers the class (and both COBOL 1 AND 2 are mandatory for people getting their degree in MIS with a Programming concentration). Places still do a lot of Cobol, especially older established companies. Ive talked with reps from State Farm and Caterpillar and they all still have COBOL work that they do. Its a pain to convert that stuff into a more modern language.
Not that I love COBOL but it has its uses.
Sep 27th 2011 11:13AM This didn't quite come out like I intended it too, I guess that's what happens when I wake up early to do COBOL homework /cry
Sep 27th 2011 11:10AM My warlock recently hit 85, and I have to say I'm enjoying Destro. I want to avoid affliction (this toon is just for fun, he will only be doing alt raids as I'm usually needed on my tank for the main raids), mostly because one of my other 85s is a spriest, and I feel that they are too similar. Destro gives me more of a mage-like feel, while still allowing me to use dots, which I'm familiar with.
Just my 2 cents on that question
Sep 14th 2011 8:07PM I actually had problems there on my lock over the weekend. I didn't notice at first either, ran into the building where my quest turn ins were located, didn't end well for me
Sep 13th 2011 11:13AM There was a guy in my guild in wrath who would link the crappy mcweaksauce mount all the time in raids. He said it was from when Blizzard was originally testing out flying mounts, and is something that never made it to live. Likely something that may have been in a ptr file or something. He didn't have any inside info that I know of, but its a good guess if anything.
Sep 1st 2011 2:05PM i to have this and will be using it
