Addon Spotlight: Geist {WoW}

Jun 10th 2010 1:21PM VuhDo is a very nice and will done addon and the best looking one I have looked at, the guy who made it did an awsome job, sadly it's so daunting that I didn't even know where to begain to set it up, Reading pages of directions is not my thing and it cuts on play time. Healbot was easy to figure out and to set up and use. To me it made healing so less hectic

Breakfast Topic: Your city is under attack {WoW}

Jun 1st 2010 2:46PM You when I saw the city I was in being under attack, and yes I do play a DK. I was thinking when Cata comes out everyone will be able to fly and if it it does not get destoried. It could be the first time people would be able besides DK's to visit Acherus.

Gives ya alot to think about the possibilitys

Breakfast Topic: What story does your WoW subscription history tell? {WoW}

May 20th 2010 10:37AM I hate to say it but I am at the point of getting away from WOW. As of late I just get on do my dailies collect my frost badges and go, I find myself guild hopping tring to find a guild that is stable and cohesive to do a steady raiding schedule that is within my playtime. That should not be hard as the server I am on is in the same time zone I am in an I on from 6pm to 12am, almost daily. I also feel bad about hopping from guild to guild as I joined to help them out, but that's where it seems to end. They cannot get the players together or they arn't totally truthfull. I do try to go 2-3 weeks with them, as I know people do have lives outside of WOW. It seems to me that only a few guilds on this server have even seen and/or beaten the LK conternt. I have even tried swapping sides without much luck. I don't think I am a bad player. I play a DK as my main and am not the first to die, I hardly ever come up on the faidbot that others use. My DPS is on par with hunters and mages with equal gearing. I really don't want to hop servers to see if the grass is really that green or not, and to spend time lvling an alt to get where you some value to a guild as a raider just to see if it is me. It's not like I never played a MMO before. I have played one for five years with the same guild. And two others for a couple of years.

The Daily Blues {WoW}

May 11th 2010 9:53AM I am not sure I understand this right, but a GDC is where your almost all skills that you have on the bar can not be used? I.e. Dark, or under a count down to be used)

I have a dual wielding Frost DPS/ Unholy DPS Death Knight (my main that I play the most), a Tank/Resto Druid, and a Elemental/Resto Shaman that are 80's.

From my experience I do not see how this is detrimental to game play, I hardly ever have a GDC for more than a few seconds, and as for my Death Knight there are two skill that can refresh all your runes or convert them to another so your off an running, breaking the GDC as I know it. My Shaman is much in the same way I have access to skills that let me do the same.

As for my tank, the only problem I have with him is that I do get rage starved mostly from using skills faster than I can regenerate it, or that it runs out before I can get to my next group.

On all these characters I have, the GDC’s I suffer is gone in a skill click away. It’s hardly ever used but once or twice in a boss battle, the dps/hps loss it would calculate to is no big deal when the boss is dead anyhow (less than 300 in the over all*).

I do not comprehend why a GDC is as horrid as it seems to be.

* This is what Recount drops by when I stop attacking and can not be applied to healing (Probably not the best reference but its one I can see)
