Mar 14th 2011 3:45PM I really enjoyed the video. I too laughed at the part with your kids, and at the Starbucks. Great job, you are clearly having fun making these videos and I appreciate your creativity. You are also stunningly beautiful, which probably makes some people jealous, so just ignore them.
Mar 6th 2011 3:43PM I meant Claws of Torment of course.
Mar 6th 2011 3:41PM At the 359 item level, Claws of Agony and Maimgor's Bite sim better for me than dual-wielding than Crul'korak. Of course, heroic Crul'korak beats them. But don't be fooled by the Elitist Jerks BIS list having dual Crul'koraks because they're 372 (heroic) item level.
Feb 19th 2011 10:21PM Rockbiter is great to use for a few rare trick encounters.
For example, kiting the Shadow of Obsidius adds on Ascendant Lord Obsidius in Blackrock Caverns is a breeze as an enhancement shaman. Imbue a weapon with Rockbiter, use Stoneclaw totem to initally taunt the adds, drop an Earth Bind totem to slow the adds, switch to Ghost Wolf, and run in cricles, pulling the adds near enough to the Earth Bind on each pass. Use Unleash Elements with Rockbiter to re-taunt the adds after they swap places with the boss. Rinse and repeat.
I have also used Rockbiter and Unleash Elements in a similar way to pick up the adds on Commander Springvale in Shadowfang Keep. (This was useful when our gear levels were lower and handling these adds was much harder.)
In theory, you could even keep a spare weapon in your bags imbued with Rockbiter, then switch to the weapon, pop Unleash Element to taunt a wayward add off a healer, then re-equip your normal weapon. I don't know of any shamans who do this, and I probably wouldn't waste my time because tanks will normally pick up a wayward add faster than I would, but it is theoretically possible.
