Apr 4th 2012 3:54PM In my 10 minutes working on the level 90 training dummy, I found that SW:P was dropping off faster than I expected. DP has a duration of 24 seconds, SW:P is only 18. It will take a lot of getting used to.
I would like to see Shadowy Apparitions removed from the GCD. Also, there should be more clarification as to when I should cast it. Is there any benefit to waiting for 3 orbs? Should I cast it the moment I have an orb? Maybe a stacking buff that increases the damage of each Apparition based on how many orbs I have. The overall rotation seems VERY similar to what it is now. Without Evangalism working, or mana return from SW:D, our mana regen is very broken right now.
For some reason I thought Shadow Priests is one of the few classes that has a lot of work left to be done. I hope that is the case....
Mar 13th 2012 11:03AM The NDA is designed to prevent 3rd party sites from leaking information early. I'm still holding out hope that Blizzard will release all kinds of information this week - allowing the mmo-champ's of the world to do cleanup next week.
Jan 25th 2012 11:10AM 1) Blizzcon 2013 is going to be huge:
• Titan Announced/Playable
• Starcraft 2 – Protoss expansion
• World of Warcraft – next expansion? (or maybe final boss patch)
• Diablo 3 – First Xpac?
2) I really liked the new MoP music after playing at blizzcon. It might quickly become my favorite
Jan 23rd 2012 12:01PM Hey Queue,
I have a question regarding buffs in MoP: are the single target caster buff's going by the wayside (DI, FM)? I did some poking around on the blizzard site, and it looks like DI is going to become a 6% spell power increase buff raid wide.
Followup question: At blizzcon we heard about a new buff (Mastery). Is it safe to assume Monk is the only class that will bring that buff?
Jan 18th 2012 2:30PM I worry that sites like wowinsider and mmo-champ might be more susceptible to the ill-effects of SOPA than the joystiq article states. What if Blizzard/Activision decides they want all world of warcraft related news and discussion limited to their own website? They could very quickly sue AOL or Curse and they would be blocked by the US government. Leaked MOP Beta information - that's a banning. Data mining 4.3 patch items - that's a banning. Linking to a video of user generated in-game content - that's a banning.
I don't think Blizzard has a problem with any of these sites, but SOPA would provide them a quick path to block all news releated to their IP.
Dec 15th 2011 4:59PM I too, have an uncle
Nov 29th 2011 11:05AM Is there a new Caverns of Time portal from the captial cities? If not, is it faster to go to Uldum or Argent tournament -> Dalaran -> COT Portal.
Nov 18th 2011 4:27PM I think they are testing the expected level of difficulty for the raid finder. One would think the majority of people who go to the PTR to test Raid content are relatively hardcore raiders. The people you are matched with in the raid finder are people who will probably be working on Heroic modes week 2...
In the "real world", a lower skill level could probably be expected.
Nov 11th 2011 12:52PM The new raid lockout changes for Taiwan and Korea adjust the lockout timers for the patch 4.0 and 4.2 raids. The lockout timers for these raids will now reset twice weekly instead of once.
I think that means it includes firelands.
I guess people didn't like this question though :(
Nov 11th 2011 11:02AM Question: Assuming the same number of players/raiders, how many additional Legendaries will Korean players have in their raids compared to American players? (Don't say 2x as many!)
