The Queue: Twilight cultists are everywhere {WoW}

Jul 31st 2011 12:55AM i posted this on today's queue, but realized you'd have a better chance of seeing it here, but:

another option to consider is actually the cooling fan in your laptop. anytime i find my laptop starts overheating for some reason, i take the cover off the fan, and clean any dust or crap out of it and all its vents. you'd be surprised at how hot a laptop can get if it cant get proper air circulation through there.

that combined with a powered cooling pad with fans, and you'll be hard pressed to get your laptop to overheat.

Jul 27th 2011 11:03PM the way i like to look at it is that during the war in Northrend, both forces encountered actual Kvaldir, and found them to be so terrifying due to their ghost-like presence (caused by the mist-weaving magic that made them evaporate on death), that the other Vrykul would dress up as them so as to confuse and terrify their enemies. In the Shattering, it was Garrosh who discovered their ploy, and revealed that all the attacking Vrykul at that specific time were nothing more than normal Vrykul masquerading as Kvaldir to scare their enemies, and make them easier to slaughter.

The Queue: Dwarves! {WoW}

Jul 10th 2011 1:56PM ok, 2 questions here:

A) is malorne really resurrected? if so, why does he still look like a ghost, while cenarius and the other ancients have corporeal forms? and why do we also have a quest to gather the shards of his spirit (ghost deer). in fact, the text for that quest distinctly states that "malorne is no longer with us."

2) is there any kind of lore-ish reason why bosses carry armor designed to fit perfectly on members of other races? like why would an ettin be carrying a mail helm that fits a dwarf or a worgen, or whatever. also, was this gear forged somewhere, or do we just keep finding random junk with magical properties and stuffing it on our heads as hats?

Jul 4th 2011 12:25PM YES, to the tomatoes. a nice big red tomato with liberal amounts of salt is amazing. they're even better if chilled for a few hours prior to slicing, and eaten immediately.

and as for the plot stun lock, i noticed that the druids accompanying fandral seemed to be doing some kind of group channel spell. seemed to me that the combined power of several already powerful druids who have been personally endowed with power by the firelord himself could possibly be able to stun even malfurion and the aspects for at least enough time to do the job and get out. and never underestimate the power of surprise.

Jun 22nd 2011 3:16PM not sure if this counts or not, but back when they had the free preview service of the mobile service for android, i know you could have whisper conversations with people online, in addition to guild chat.
