Breakfast Topic: What was your first raid experience? {WoW}

Sep 24th 2011 11:32AM Scholomance. Ended up eventually having to kill Gandling about (no kidding) two dozen times before my lightforge helm dropped. And I never DID get my chest off Drakkisath in UBRS.

Breakfast Topic: What do you during Tuesday maintenance? {WoW}

Jul 5th 2011 11:02AM I'm a teacher, so normally it's not much of a problem. Now that summer has set in, Tuesday has become my day to mow the lawn, trim the hedges, run errands and take care of other things typically on my Saturday-Sunday agenda.

Breakfast Topic: Did you achieve your Noblegarden goals? {WoW}

May 2nd 2011 8:56AM I didn't. I managed to pick up the meta, sure, but I must have opened up close to 400 eggs over the course of the week and never managed to get the dress and officially "close out" my noblegarden achievs.

The Daily Grind: What's the worst you've ever been griefed? {Massively}

Apr 26th 2011 8:27AM When I played Darkfall (the first 6 months or so of release -- before the NA-EU server split), there was an EU-based clan that used to come into our city every morning and put the place on lockdown for about 3-4 hours. They'd farm our resources, gank anyone who missed them pinging the local defense system, smash up our buildings with siege hammers, then use our vault to bank their goodies.

Since we (and most of our alliance) were all NA players, we didn't have enough people online to fight them off at 7:30 in the morning, so all we could do was sit there and take it until enough allies logged in (usually around 11am-noon) to drive them out.

Worst part was, since they didn't have a holding of their own, there was nothing we could do to exact our revenge unless we happened to catch them out in the wilderness during our prime time.

Breakfast Topic: Achievements that should have been {WoW}

Feb 1st 2011 9:03AM I agree with you entirely, Stella. Achievements *should* be relevant. Much as professional athletes can't compete in high school sports, you should be able to run around at lvl 85 picking up achievements you missed out on years ago.

That having been said, if there had been achievements in the game during vanilla I think killing Garr with all his adds up would have been a good one. Maybe also one for killing Ragnaros before his sons came out to play.
