Know Your Lore: The curious dissonance of Alliance leveling {WoW}

Apr 1st 2012 7:12PM You mean a quest where after you're done, it's back to where it was before?
Sound more of just not having that area phased instead of deliberately shoving if to the Alliance. I think you're reading more into it then there is.

Haven't quested that much as Alliance. But after having read this article, they do need some positive storylines/endings.

What are multiboxers and how do you fight one in PvP? {WoW}

Mar 1st 2012 7:03PM @Jorges

The reason why Steelseries mice and other equipment with macro functionality is prohibited is because you can create longer and more complicated macro's. For example, you can make a macro that pushes 1, then waits 1.5 second, then pushes 2, waits another 1.5 second, and then push 3. Which means that you have 3 (or more) actions per keystroke.

All that the multiboxing software does is forward keystrokes to applications running in the background. At least that's to my knowledge.

5 ways to fail at Battlegrounds {WoW}

Feb 29th 2012 7:14PM In late Wrath I PvP'd a lot on my Prot warrior, I used the exact same build and gear as for my ICC25 runs, except for pvp trinket. My damage was abysmal, but I was practically unkillable. Most of the times I used that to defend bases, but sometimes I fought on the roads intentionally when there was defense enough. Because I could hold against 2-3 DPSers I was keeping them from attacking/defending stuff.
And I noticed also that a lot of players can't ignore what they think are easy preys. When they see a couple people attacking 1 target, they join in, even though the single person was going down already.

Which brings me to another point for the list:
#8 If 5 people are bashing in 1 persons face, don't bother dismounting and make that 6. You're better of helping somewhere else.

Breakfast Topic: Where have you spotted any hidden homes? {WoW}

Feb 10th 2012 10:28AM That exact lake is where I usually spend a lot of time just sitting there next to a campfire and chatting with people. It felt so nice and secluded, although I never really understood why that canoe is there.

The man who gave away 1,000,000 gold {WoW}

Jan 24th 2012 7:41AM Pretty funny that all the plate gear linked in the article and comments are really skimpy plate bikini's.

Breakfast Topic: Would you vote-kick that NPC from your party? {WoW}

Jan 17th 2012 9:49AM I can't really figure Thrall out, one moment he keeps on pulling and not waiting for the group, then he just stops dead in his tracks. He will only move if you ask him to, after which he says to "follow him".

He also has a thing for Thunderstorming casters away, and then jogging up to them to melee them. I thought he respecced Elemental this patch.

The Queue: What am I going to do with all these Green Proto-Drakes? {WoW}

Sep 4th 2011 2:46PM I always assumed on the other side of the gate is the boat inside Deadmines, because if I recall there's also a big gate in there.

And since the boat is inside a cave, it makes sense that there's a mountain.

Aug 19th 2011 3:09PM Heroic Leap gives the "no path available" error when there's a slight difference in height between the target and player. You can however Heroic Leap straight down to where you would be landing if you're fast enough. The minimum range is more a sphere around the character then a circle, same as with charge/intercept and intervene. I suppose you can also charge/intercept to Raggy instead of stance dancing to Intervene a raid member.

Aug 9th 2011 4:29PM Those dragons you see on your minimap is recolered textured in the shape of a dragon. There's on on the southern edge of Dragonblight under water near the Path of the Titans.

Aug 9th 2011 4:16PM This kinda reminds me of the GTA:SA Hidden Interiors, I believe it's the same system.

But I do wonder, if all the map/terrain data is stored on client side, isn't there a way to use some mapping program to view it without being in game and having the risk of getting banned.
