Aug 25th 2011 6:35PM I play a paladin and would gladly offer my tanking services, but I play as Retribution. For me it seems that one of the worst things about wanting to tank is the barrier of entry. I don't have that much time to play and get geared as a tank so I just stick to playing as DPS. If there was a way for me to jump into a prot spec (or even just stay ret), throw on a shield, and start tanking I would.
Rossi seems to have a good idea with the ability to tank just attached to some kind of toggle. If I remember correctly this idea even got talked about before Cata with say the ability to not be crit by a boss being tied to Righteous Fury or Defensive Stance. This kind of change I think would at least help with the number of people able and willing to serve as tanks.
Jul 9th 2011 1:46PM To expand on your idea of fighting Deathwing in the capitol cities, which I love, what if the raid bosses were all attacking different instanced zones across Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, or even a different raid boss in each of the capitol cities? It would be all, or mostly outdoors, and have large groups of mages to teleport you around to the next boss, with the final battle being when you get word that Deathwing is attacking Stormwind/Orgrimmar and you go there to defeat him.
Jul 4th 2011 1:26PM When I'm queued for a dungeon, random or otherwise, what does the average length of queue time mean? Is it an average of all the times that I've been in queue's or is it the average length of everyone in the queue?
Jun 9th 2011 1:32PM Something I was wondering about the other day was what would happen with stat scaling on a low level character if you equipped them with high level or even end-game gear? The idea of a new character running around with huge amounts of their main stat (strength, agility, etc.) or crit/haste just seems ridiculous. Is there a website or other source where I could model this?
Apr 30th 2011 2:09PM It used to be that when you transferred a character to another realm at level 80 you could only take 20k gold with you (I believe that was the number). Has this cap increased when you are at level 85, or would you still need to plan to only take so much so the gold is not lost?
Apr 26th 2011 12:53PM That would be super cool to get, to bad I never win any of their drawings
Mar 29th 2011 11:23AM Why do you let Adam write The Queue again?
Mar 7th 2011 11:36AM Q: How do I know what is a good question to ask The Queue?
Feb 28th 2011 6:51PM I was unaware that it worked that way. Thanks for clearing that up Basil
Feb 28th 2011 4:13PM Um, you definitely get Pyrite Ore when you mine Pyrite nodes not Elementium.
