Shifting Perspectives: Amazing addons for feral cat DPS {WoW}

Mar 7th 2011 11:42AM The main feral druid I use is TellMeWhen with OmniCC. It just displays the spell icon anywhere I want on the screen whenever I apply a debuff to a target or buff to myself, showing the duration. It also makes Icons for tiger's fury and berserk show up when I enter combat, and when I use either of those abilities the icon goes away and doesn't pop back up until the ability is usable.

Right now I have it tracking Rip, Rake, Mangle, Savage Roar and Icons for when TF and Berserk are usable. Might add feral charge but I dunno. It used to give me an OCC icon was well but the new spell indicator thing did away with that.

Feb 22nd 2011 1:42PM I am most up set that Lex shaking hands with the baboon in the Superman suit was left out.

But in all seriousness I figured Superman saving Regan would absolutely make it and it's a crying shame it didn't. A minute or so of that is worth losing some of Lex and Superman hitting each other.

Feb 10th 2011 3:27PM Personally just about every single one of my favorite comics writers I discovered after I was able to download their work and read it. Without internet piracy I would not be a comics fan. I wouldn't be going to conventions with books to get signed and excited to meet the writers of my favorite books without it.

Warren Ellis for example, I found Transmet online, read the entire thing and immediately afterward went to my LCS and had them order me the trades which I bought on week at time. Now I have the full set and I buy all of Warren's singles as they come out.

Same with Grant Morrison, Animal Man and Doom Patrol I pirated, then bought collections of. Now I read and buy everything he puts out.

Hell, back in high school the comic that made me interested in reading comics again? Ultimate Spider-Man, I read it first for free online at Marvel's site, now I own the first 4 trades and issue 33-153.

Brubaker? I read his Captain America book, up until Winter Soldier, downloaded. Now I buy Cap and Secret Avengers every month.

Honestly I go to NYCC with a heavy ass back-pack full of comic books by writers I would never have known about if not for my digital thievery.

Is everyone like me? No probably not, but there also not all thieving bastards intent on taking the money from poor creators comics. And those who are? Those aren't lost sales, those are mostly people who don't pay for the comics because they just won't. If they couldn't get them for free they wouldn't at all.

And of course its great for when a friend says "Dude Jeph Loeb wrote a comic where Princess Power and Hulk fight over Hulk not having pants" and I can just download and see how terrible it is :D

Shifting Perspectives: Gearing your feral cat for raiding {WoW}

Feb 7th 2011 12:59PM Also just wanna thank Alaron for this list and honestly for being the reason I snagged Unheeded Warning for 10k off the Auction House. I had been grinding tol barad rep thinking to get Unsolvable Riddle just to have something for a trinket since my raid prospects this tier have been limited and Tia's has been unkind to me

But I saw the post about Unheeded Warning and managed to snag it off the AH for 10k. Plus our guild's normal feral druid missed the raid on Friday so this guy got Malevolence off Halfus which is gonna be a huge boost from my ilvl 333 staff in PVP and PVE.

Those two nice acquisitions have sorta re-ignited my urge to raid so after I bust out one level on my pally tonight I'm gonna spend the week going for Tia's Grace.
