Jun 25th 2010 6:29PM It's going to be difficult to prosecute someone over 500g and 80 ore when... they're digital. Not impossible, but difficult. Also you've got the hurdles of proving that you gave the person those items, proving the circumstances of handing them over. When if ever they expected to get them back, etc. If it's a loan on honor, it might as well be a gift.

It's going to be MUCH more easy to prosecute someone over hacking their email AND game accounts. There's a trail of evidence there, and something law enforcement can really nail you on.

Jun 21st 2010 11:40AM Last year a few guildies helped my wife and I farm it for her... it never dropped. That was 7 days of killing him with about 5-7 toons a day. After about 40 kills we didn't get it to drop once.

I know this is the one thing she was looking forward to getting this year, and now it's not dropping.

Dana, I totally agree that if it was accidentally coded for a large drop rate and too many people were getting them that they'd do a server-side hotfix immediately. Though they could probably spend the same resources to fix it this year, they won't. It's really disappointing.

Shifting Perspectives: What are optional talents?, page 2 {WoW}

Jun 12th 2010 11:32AM For new abilities like Solar Beam, I actually like and understand that all Balance Druids will have it. It makes it a more iconic ability for the class. I think of Divine Storm for Ret Paladins or Arcane Barrage for Arcane Mages as very iconic abilities that they always take.

For me the fun behind optional talents are specifically the ones that either fix a particular play style weakness or give you some extra fun thing to do.

The fact that WotLK talents don't let you choose more than 3 or 4 talents at most that are "optional" is frustrating to me. I'm really looking forward to a structure where, after you've planned out your spec's foundation talents (the major dps increases or mechanics talents) you get to spend the other half of your points asking yourself, "What's the must fun I could have?"

I know there'll be those ego dps out there who will go to EJ and find which build is mathematically "the best," but EJ often overlooks things like a talent's effect on other non-rotational game mechanics.
