Jul 26th 2007 9:49AM Nice looking mount! Would love a one-in three thousand shot at getting it.

Fighting teenagers in Scarlet Monastery {WoW}

Feb 15th 2007 1:50PM Oops. "Four years have passed..." Heh, seems like yesterday!

Fighting teenagers in Scarlet Monastery {WoW}

Feb 15th 2007 1:44PM I thought the WoW cinematic intro starts with "ten years have passed"? And isn't that 10 years since the Horde and the Alliance banded together, which I believe was some time after the scourge invasion started?

And there's plenty of people who get white hair in their twenties... without considering the effects of living in a magical environment.

Warlock Spells: Incinerate {WoW}

Jan 30th 2007 10:44AM Unless you know of an error in the talent tree tooltip, I believe Shadow and Flame does in fact boost Incinerate just as much as Shadow Bolt. And of course Improved Immolate isn't going to affect Incinerate, but then, it doesn't affect Shadow Bolt either. And Incinerate gets an additional 10% damange from 5 talent points in Emberstorm, which Shadow Bolt doesn't, which in my mind cancels out the loss of Improved Shadow Bolt proc effects.

Basically what Incinerate is is a fire alternative to shadow bolt for destruction 'locks. It's cool, but it hardly threatens the game balance, it's not like it does masses more damage than Shadow Bolt. My normal (PvE) attack opens with Immolate, then Incinerate, Fear, then Incinerate a couple more times, then Conflagrate. That combo usually takes down any non-elite mob in about 20 seconds without me taking a scratch. 'Course, it also takes my mana pool down by a third at least.

I like Incinerate as a legitimate alternative to Shadow Bolt. It's not for all situations, and it's hardly disruptive to game balance, but it does give warlocks who've been complaining about spamming Shadow Bolts a viable second option.

More Burning Crusade rumors {WoW}

Sep 28th 2006 11:57AM You missed that the other preview (on TrustedReviews.com) also suggests a December release date:

"Burning Crusade has definitely moved on since I saw it a few months ago, and hopefully Blizzard will be able to hit its pre-Christmas release date in December."

However, both web sites are UK-based, and it's quite possible that Blizzard is planning to release in North America before going overseas.
