Sep 29th 2011 8:39PM I find it incredibly hard not to comment on the political views of the guild when that is their primary reason for being featured here anyway.
To say "while guild chat is mostly non-political, it is also where we express our leftist political views, which sometimes may include a sharp word or two about Republicans. "
Is like saying "I'm mostly a balanced, non-discriminatory man, but I occasionally like to pelt black men with rocks".
I digress, this guild does certainly stand out, and it's great that older "progressive" people can get together. However, I know a small handful of Religious and Republican guilds that exist as well, but as far as I can recall none of them have ever been featured on WoWinsider. Funny how those things work.

Aug 25th 2011 5:42PM *correction, it will be introduced next patch, we just don't know which sets will be available, I would assume Tier 1, 2, and 3 will be a must though
Aug 25th 2011 5:41PM Great article idea! Be careful though, Blizzard announced that with the Darkmoon Faire Island there will be an opportunity to get novelty versions of some unspecified armour sets. It might be wise to wait and see how that unfolds as opposed to grinding Molten Core. Or maybe grinding Molten Core will be a more fun way to do it! But before you grind for hours, keep in mind there is an unspecified alternate method that MIGHT be introduced in the next major patch.
Aug 18th 2011 5:33PM Considering the original song was about sex it's only appropriate that his parody be the same. Also, he wasn't a blood elf rapper at this time, blood elf rap wasn't a genre, Nyhm was original, moreover, he was modest. Every Blood Elf rapper does songs on how good they are in PvP (most famously Gigi, who was actually a horrible player), but Nyhm has only touched that subject once. The majority of his subjects are spread out and funny.
Aug 16th 2011 2:55PM After looking their GM up on the armory (Textual of Darkspear US) you are correct in that he's a hypocrite with standards that he himself cannot reach. In addition, I looked at the forums a little bit and there are some not-so-great statements about the guild. I sort of assumed that with an ego as big as ripping Garrosh's heart out that something was up.
I think your comment obviously doesn't support the context of this video but whatever, I'm up-voting it anyway, sometimes the truth isn't friendly.
Aug 16th 2011 1:34PM There is no perfect estimation for how much gold is removed from inflation without getting into player statistics. Almost everybody buys mount training of every sort now, and everybody has to repair now and then. But the major transactions in-game happen much, much more for some players than others. Every time you buy a motorbike mount there is the illusion that you are giving your gold to another player for redistribution into the economy, when the majority of it goes to cover the material cost. Some players might make numerous unseen transactions with NPCs, some players might make them much more or less than others. But overall, major transactions make up a significant part of the inflation slower, yet they are seriously difficult to keep track of.
Aug 16th 2011 12:21PM Seriously? Threats with Age of Conan? You're about 4 years off-beat champ.
