23 images of the female pandaren customization {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 5:32AM Some people have a messed-up idea about female characters. They think there's no point to them unless they'd want to hit that (or, alternately, look like their preferred pretty-princess fantasy).

Mar 23rd 2012 5:30AM I could take or leave the adjustments she made to the body. However, the wider muzzle definitely makes that look more like a bear's face; and the thicker neck is more proportionate to the wide head.

Blizzard drops "Glimpses" screenshot with 3 unknown NPCs -- possible patch or expansion hint? {WoW}

Aug 12th 2011 3:45PM @ cloudhopper013: I'd guess that there are just as many people who HATE pandaren as love them and think that they're "badass," and far more people who don't give a damn. Ditto ethereals.

Breakfast Topic: Male or female? {WoW}

Jul 3rd 2011 11:16AM I've been known to cross-play on occasion, because male draenei are adorkable.

The WoW Insider Show Episode 194 {WoW}

May 21st 2011 1:01AM They said that the Alliance battlecry should be "Have mercy!" to be exact. And to be honest? I think they need to stop pretty much half-arsing half of the Alliance races.

Breakfast Topic: Are you happy with the new races? {WoW}

Mar 6th 2011 8:15PM The goblin start area was silly. The worgen start area was dramatic, but...well, kind of buggy.

Goblin models are perfect for what they are.

The male worgen model is freakin' beautiful. Mind you, I don't mean that in the sense that it's pretty; it's a snarling beast of a werewolf that's actually rather grotesque. I mean that in the sense that it's as thematically perfect as the goblins. It is, however, a bit clippy and only has five faces.

The female worgen model is a mess—severely clippy, buggy, and rather poorly animated. Additionally, it looks, as I have pointed out elsewhere, like the strung-out illegitimate daughter of Jessica Rabbit and Bambi, with its silly dished snout, bulging vacant doll-eyes, and Liefeldian proportions. (And the ears appear to have been copy-pasted, with only minor alterations, from the male goblin model.)

I'm not particularly fussed about Running Wild. However, the match-ups between human and worgen forms (and druid feral forms) are rather non-intuitive. And paler fur options should come with paler ruffs.

Shifting Perspectives: Why (or why not) to play a worgen druid {WoW}

Nov 18th 2010 4:18AM Well, that's just the thing: Female trolls actually HAVE different face options. Female worgen really don't.

And as for female trolls being ugly? At least they're not both ugly and utterly nonthreatening (as per female worgen, who look like lapdogs). And at least they don't waddle as if they're wearing diapers.

The Shattering plot summary: Garrosh and Cairne {WoW}

Oct 20th 2010 3:00AM Okay, not only does Thrall get red-stringed, but Garrosh is an official Wesley. Feh.
