WoW Moviewatch: Exodar Disco {WoW}

Oct 13th 2011 12:37AM On Wyrmrest Accord, we did just that. We turned Exodar into a disco with a dedicated radio stream and 70+ attendees. http://clubtrix.shivtr.com/gallery_images/348876

WoW Archivist: The Emerald Dream, Outland, and other Z-axis secrets, page 2 {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 3:46PM There's an uninstanced copy of ZA behind the ZA wall now. Ghostlands was given a complete coastline in preparation for it being joined to the rest of the world and to allow flying; the process was just never completed.

WoW Archivist: The Emerald Dream, Outland, and other Z-axis secrets, page 2 {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 3:39PM Are you kidding? That music was great! Drum'n'bass is never a bad thing. Moving on..

Quel'Danas isn't below Zangarmarsh, it's northeast of Netherstorm. If you've ever grouped with someone in Silvermoon whilst standing anywhere in Outland, you'll notise they show up on the minimap with an arrow pointing in their direction: Northeast. Exodar & Azuremyst are Southeast. The combat log in Zangarmash picking up Quel'danas is a real oddity for sure.

As for the ghost ship at 0,0, I'll have to believe Drakkenfyre. AFAIK, that ghost ship has not always been there. Back in Vanilla, at least around patch 1.9, there was a massive glitch on the Darkspear server where anybody leaving a dungeon and going back into the world would glitch into space at 0,0,0, fall a short distance, and then become stuck in air. There was a line of people suspended in air from just below the ground to beyond the camera's view distance. I made many screenshots, sadly, those are all lost due to a hard drive failure within the past 5 or so years. I never saw any ghost ship.

All the World's a Stage: 4.0 roleplay addons {WoW}

Nov 21st 2010 10:10PM That spam's been linked with an outdated version of GHI.

All the World's a Stage: 4.0 roleplay addons {WoW}

Nov 21st 2010 9:12PM Yep, that disappearance issue is the result of having both addons running. It's a choice of either having that disappearance issue, or only ever seeing half the people. It's really frustrating.

All the World's a Stage: 4.0 roleplay addons {WoW}

Nov 21st 2010 7:31PM MyRoleplay stopped reading other flags after patch 4.0. The optimal thing to do now, if you want to see everyone, is indeed to run both. I have been running MyRP along with FlagRSP Cataclysm (available only on Wowinterface, not on curse) without the game imploding on itself. The two work together. The only problem is that -sometimes- the tooltip will go blank and revert to a default one, but the descriptions and icons will still appear on the target frame.

All the World's a Stage: 4.0 roleplay addons {WoW}

Nov 21st 2010 7:28PM There's an error with a paragraph in your article.

"The nice thing that I have always liked about MyRolePlay is that it will let you view other player's character descriptions even if they don't have MyRolePlay installed."

This is no longer true. The compatibility was removed in 4.0. MyRoleplay users can no longer see the descriptions of anyone else, and no-one can see those of MyRP users. The Addons are now split into 3 families, which can only interact with the addons within their family.

Family 1:
FlagRSP2, FlagRSP Cataclysm, ImmersionRP

Family 2:
MyRoleplay, Marysue

Family 3:
TotalRP2*

*TotalRP2 can read the descriptions of those in Family 1, but does not share its data with them.

Blizzard announces phase 2 of region-wide battlegroup matching {WoW}

Nov 4th 2010 7:48AM Yet still at 5am:

"You are in the queue for a random battleground.
Average wait time: 8 Min
Time in queue: 1 Hr 2 Min"

..and counting..

=[

But, having my Hordies on Emberstorm and my Alliance on Bloodlust, this will make things interesting and fun.

Around Azeroth: You are so totally prepared {WoW}

Oct 30th 2010 11:11AM Too bad Deathwing can fly, too. Still unprepared. =[

But still humourous =D
