Oct 30th 2011 12:55PM Wow. Yeah. Captain Douchbaggery here, go for it. I don't think anybody here is going to stop you.
Oct 30th 2011 12:54PM No. There are already anti-Naaru. Like, y'know, the FALLEN ones. There's no place out there for the Sha to take over this role. The Sha have their role: they are malevolent spirits, not god-like beings granting power willy-nilly to whoever prays to them.
...err...I hope not, at least... that would get awkward.
DAMNIT. Okay, FINE, I suppose if Blizzard pulls enough from Asian lore, that is a role they could fill, but I would be VERY upset by that, Blizzard!! (Deals with devils and whatnot... There's enough of that already...)
Oct 30th 2011 12:49PM Jeez Ky, isn't it a bit overkill? Don't have to browbeat all of the non-... I was going to say "non-Otaku", but that's not a culture-wide term... umm... don't have to browbeat the "I-don't-really-care-enough-to-actually-learn-about-the-culture-and-proper-weaponry-terms" people. :p All of us who actually care know, and those of them who don't won't care to know.
But yes, the Helboar Carving Blade was one of the ones I was talking about. There's a low-level questing Cata one-hander katana as well. As I said, will post the name later.
Oct 30th 2011 12:41PM 1) Hijacking someone else's thread just to get placed higher up is NOT COOL.
2) I don't think you can do situation buttons like that really. I suppose you could just make a macro that literally has a line for every single spell. That USED to work, since only usable abilities would get used, and you could prioritize...
But still, your best bet is to just macro a few different abilities to one button with Alt+ or Ctrl+ macros.
Oct 30th 2011 12:38PM I've run into at least one katana questiong post-Cata. It was on SUPER low level areas, though.
There's a two-hander in Hellfire Peninsula that you get through questing, so you could do Titan's Grip... I'll check my Draenei when I get home today and post the katana name. He kept one.
Oct 30th 2011 12:03PM In honor of the announcement of Pandaria, I bring you, this video!!
Oct 26th 2011 6:44AM Just realized, this would be a great way to chain-refresh our abilities. Fresh stack of S&D at max, fresh stack of Recup at max...
Oct 26th 2011 6:42AM ...it's 15, that stacks a MINIMUM of 30 times (15*30=450) before it will start the proc. It can do a maximum of 50 stacks (15*50=750). That is a not-insignificant buff. Get your head outta your ass.
Oct 16th 2011 2:24PM The only problem with doing that is that WoWInsider doesn't get paid for the ads that show up. They generate revenue because they get paid every time someone loads a page and the add loads with it (and only when the ad loads), and extra cash when someone clicks an ad.
So, you can do that, but you're kinda cashblocking the site. Admittedly, I do it too, but that's because I visit so many sites that I don't give a damn if they make money off of me, and it's too much of a PITA to regulate it on a few choice sites. :P
Oct 16th 2011 2:20PM Actually, I think DA has stipulations that, once you put it on the site, it belongs to them. That's why they get to sell prints of your work (you get a cut, but still...).
So, my not-professional-at-all-opinion states that DA is a no-no.
