Apr 8th 2010 8:47AM Have always loved world pvp also, loved the big epic battles that would occur randomly. i also found other players to be more social on the pvp servers, more -- united, to stop the oppressors.
I had hoped with the raids for capitol cities would be much more common on the pve server I am on now, but sadly it seemed to just be something those did for the mount in the beginning and there's no longer any interest. In fact those who even try and start one up in now trade seem to get ridiculed and filling spots is like pulling teeth. It's one of the funnest things to do, not sure why so many are so vehemently opposed to enjoying themselves. Epix or gtfo, I guess :)
Mar 18th 2010 8:32AM I've always found it more peculiar that people are hounded for them at the start of battleground. Does it really give you much of a lead in that 30 seconds before you die?
May 20th 2009 10:38AM Not a huge fan of the actual design (navigation could use a little more contrast), but it does finally load decently without dragging my browser to a halt and comments are easier on the eyes to read.
Oct 18th 2008 3:03PM Did no one level in BC, themselves?
How about waiting till you're 80 to whine about pallys? Rogues where significantly behind other dps classes in BC until they started picking up the welfare and raiding gear, same with mages and others. I have no doubt that pally's will easily fall behind as the game progresses.
How will you pvp whiners cope with death knights? Better stock up on the kleenex.
Oct 14th 2008 8:14PM Yes, Don, I am sure the entire Blizzard staff where all smhmoozing at Blizzcon. /eyeroll
The ignorance you people display on patch days could be it's own achievement.
Oct 9th 2008 10:48AM I personally, and many others, do not find healing or tanking hard or boring when compared to a dps class. A giant healing crit is just as thrilling as any other dps crit.
What ruins it--is the generally rude, selfish and inconsiderate player community. Blaming your tanks and healers for your own mistakes, yelling at them in BG's to "heal pls", only using them for raids and not helping them outside of those raids with quests/farmings...list goes on.
Start treating people better and you won't see "shortages". The only time I have seen a lack of poeple wanting to play these roles are in pugs and awful poorly-run guilds. The massive brat-overload in this game is what turns your healers and tanks away.
Oct 5th 2008 8:36PM Don't care for this change. I play a moonkin, and I already foresee people whining to me to just hit the magical respec button and heal their crap group. Now I loose my "I'm broke, sorry can't respec" excuse. :P
Sure hope wrath brings enough changes to the healing and tanking classes that there's not still a huge shortage of those who like to play that sort of thing.
Sep 9th 2008 12:42PM Most of you make it sound like a moonkin can shift out, main heal your tank for you, and then when he dies, tank the boss for you, and then maybe toss themselves a heal.
Any class that invests a huge amount of time, money and dedication to play a specific role/spec, should be able to be competitive with any other dps class if they choose to be. When they choose to do that, that's exactly what they should be getting used for, not cleaning up after sloppy healers and tanks.
Aug 20th 2008 8:35PM Those druids are absolutely resto. From a tree who always has been one -- I miss being rare and special, all these arena resto's hopping around who just appeared out of nowhere. :)
But umm...yeh, every now and then I pvp with some friends--resto healing in pvp is pretty superior to others and in no way difficult to do. Yay for fotm rollers aiming for the easiest win possible.
Aug 12th 2008 8:56AM Gotta say, I find it hilarious so many of you actually believe you learn to play your class while leveling.
You are much better served to just go READ about your class on class forums to get better, or even here, than to stand around chucking arrows at a bear. Just that tiny bit of effort makes a world of difference, which most never think of doing.
So you know how to complete quests, yay...gives me no indication of how much you actually died or played melee-mage throughout that process.
