WoW Books: Rise of the Horde now available {WoW}

Dec 29th 2006 2:30PM I've read Day of the Dragon, Lord of the Clans, The Last Guardian and am almost done with the first book in the War of the Ancients Trilogy: The Well of Eternity.

I agree in some cases that the writing isn't the greatest of all time, but truthfully, I find nothing wrong with it either, or the stories the authors tell. "Good writing is like a windowpane." All of the books are able to tell their stories and so far they've all been interesting. I wouldn't recommend the books to non-Warcraft fans or fantasy haters, but otherwise I think all of them are enjoyable.

Huge addon changes in the Burning Crusade {WoW}

Oct 7th 2006 12:49AM If this is their way of making 25 man raids "harder" then they need to pull their heads out of their proveribal asses.

Hey! Where's my rested XP? {WoW}

Oct 2nd 2006 4:21PM This could be another hint at a very near release date for BC. Maybe Blizzard wanted to make sure that the grind from 60 to 70 lasts you a while. I know that I could get both of my level 60 toons up to 61 with that full bar of rested EXP quite easily..

Opening the Dark Portal might not be a lagfest {WoW}

Oct 2nd 2006 1:04PM I think that the actual opening of the Dark Portal will be the new Cinematic. What better way of showing off one of the most important events in the history of Azeorth than in a CGI movie?

I'm sure there'll be something happening in the game regarding the portal during the first week, but I myself would love to see the litteral opening as a CG.
