Mar 24th 2010 4:56AM I tend to spam Renew all throughout the early phase then switch to PoH spamming when I gain Unchained Magic Debuff. If you could chain CoH right after a PoH cast, it's only counted as one Instability stack (I usually only get my debuff up to 7 or sometimes, I'll just keep on going and just cast GS on myself at the end of 30+ stacks).
When P2 kicks in, I actually switch to permanently spamming PoH because of the insane constant raid damage. PoH is also a great spell for the last phase as it ignores LoS.
Mar 3rd 2010 7:38AM Before going for the badge gear and various non-hit gear pieces from ICC25, I had 4 pieces of T10 (all i. lvl 251) just to decide if it would be better to use the 4pc set bonus (with a marginal decrease in spell power & haste) or to use non tier pieces that are itemized to increase spell power and haste. In my own personal taste, I seemed to be performing better with the non tier pieces because really, there are only counted encounters in ICC that makes you wish you can spam CoH (Blood Princes, BQL, Sindragosa, & LK). Other than that, raid damage is very predictable where you could just time your CoH to an incoming damage.
I primarily spam Renew on the raid so I am definitely happy with this planned change. Although there wasn't much thought put into it, it's a set bonus where the value is permanent. I personally didn't like the current 4pc set bonus because a lot of things are already happening within the window of consuming "Flash Heal!" to reset the cd of CoH. Common things I noticed were:
1.) The groups are usually already topped off by the time you get your CoH to reset.
2.) Casting the required FH usually goes to over healing.
3.) The proc is just too random which makes it hard to control.
