Breakfast topic: The good old days {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 8:00PM Remember the OLD rep grind? The hopelessness? Ha! I can't believe how many pre-BC, (before it was a glimmer in the developers' eyes) Strats and Sholo's I did, but never seemed to gain a millimeter.

I was sooo excited when the 1.5 gear came out, when I had 3 60's... but I never got the dang timed Strat!!!

Choking toddler saved by babysitter's parrot {ParentDish}

Nov 13th 2008 12:28AM One of my cats ripped apart my boxspring while I was in bed, in pre-term labour. My son was born 2 months early anyway (healthy and safe, and 4 now) I think she wanted to give me a safe place to have my kitten. Hehehe

Kindergartners pledge to be nice to gay students {ParentDish}

Nov 2nd 2008 9:30PM I don't think that any age is too young to learn that hate is wrong. People who hate people based on who they love is plain stupid, the same as people who hate people based on their race. I'd be fine with my son receiving this same instruction at this same age.

It's not like they taught them the mechanics, people. That would be inappropriate.

I wonder how many of the people who are opposed to this are opposed to it because they, themselves, hate gay people. If so, then would they oppose the same cards if you change the "GLBT" to black? Turn the other cheek, and do onto others, folks.

I don't hate you because you're American.

I believe my kids will now wear sunblock. Always. {ParentDish}

Jan 31st 2008 5:47PM That's how I learned the lesson too. My mom is now missing a good portion of flesh and muscle on her upper left arm. I now treat tanned people with distain when they show off. "Oh, don't worry, you'll be back to normal soon. Hopefully you don't get cancer."

Sk*rt for women's topics {ParentDish}

Mar 27th 2007 1:08PM Thank you so much for this link!!! I completely quit using Digg last November, after a nasty, chauvinistic incident. (I'll post more info on that at the bottom.) I can't wait to give Sk*rt a try!!!

I'm really disappointed in you, diggers. I can't believe some of the things you're saying, and how they're getting dugg. If they're meant as jokes, which I somehow doubt, they're hurtful ones that aren't funny in the least.

Quit complaining and fetch a sandwich for me."

"by Tawni -3 diggs
No, it's not a myth. I am a girl. Girls play video games and exist on the Internet. sorry to disappoint you."

It's NOT OK!!! How in the world can you do things like this, and then complain that women are all mercenary b*****s because you can't get a girlfriend? You think it's because you're too NICE?!? WT*H!!!!

I'm out of here, Digg. It's obvious that women aren't welcome into your little club.

Deployed dad's home visit no excuse for missing school {ParentDish}

Mar 26th 2007 8:21PM As an army wife, I will pull my kid out of school for his daddy, giving administrators no quarter. We'll be facing this situation when my husband goes back to Afghanistan in January.

What are they going to do? Give the kids a letter-grade drop? Oh, well. Seriously, some things are more important. If there are truancy laws on the books, then they're more than welcome to charge me. And you'd all be reading about it.

Mar 15th 2007 9:33PM I'm sorry, it's not very nice of me to get Miss going. You've got to admit, she's not a nice person though.

Mar 15th 2007 9:29PM You're saying that 100% of American women are sluts now?

Mar 15th 2007 9:20PM Oh, and I can give you a number I read tonight - The number of women who will get cervical cancer in the US is 1 in 30.

Mar 15th 2007 8:52PM Oops, I also forgot to mention that I know that by not having sex, you won't get pregnant. Thanks for the reminder, but I'm not THAT profound an idiot. lol
