May 18th 2010 9:28PM Aron Eisenberg needs to be the Goblin Race Leader. Period.

WoW Insider Show Episode 139: Werewolves of WoW {WoW}

May 12th 2010 1:14AM The Tauren area is where Grommash Hold used to be or it looked like it. Then there was a new looking Iron clad "Grommash Hold"-like building along with the revamped Ring of Valor to the left of it.

I say, have Plaguewood be the last bastion of the Scourge and making Stratholme the instance base. Like have the Dreadlords take control of those undead again.

Gotta say, Ruins of Lordaeron above UC looks freaking amazing. I want to see the nice changes to Silvermoon. I want to fly to the top of that HUGE SPIRE!

Scattered Shots: Cobra Shot and Camouflage {WoW}

May 10th 2010 1:50PM I think stealthed state refers to something that cannot be detected by invisibility detection, like mages' or warlocks' spells. It is considered a stealth for that reason, instead of "going invisible."

Offspec gear and Cataclysm raiding {WoW}

May 10th 2010 12:30PM Good thing BIS will be changing, if not almost completely gone...
Instead of how BIS is determined now, pretty much a single stat (armor pen). The BIS for a specific player will be determined by highest armor type you can wear, your spec, and stats, like haste or crit. Got to love that Mastery stat...

And with both 10- and 25-man dropping the same loot, the BIS item will pretty much be the same for that armor type/role, maybe your spec needs more haste than crit. 10- and 25-man = ilvl 264, 10- and 25-man Heroic = ilvl 277. So BIS is one item and its heroic counterpart.

Well maybe I shouldn't say completely gone...Trinkets and the other items from previous tiers might be BIS over the higher ilvl ones, like Death's Choice. But I don't think you will want to roll out in your T9 when T10 is so much better.

May 10th 2010 12:04PM Well, the now 15% Buff doesn't hurt either...
So getting geared out also depends on what week it is and the buff you get in that week.

Next week it might grow to 20%, you never know...Well that's a lie. MMO-Champion will find someway or someone to hack Blizzard to get information. SHAME!!!

Around Azeroth: A little help, please? {WoW}

May 10th 2010 11:22AM "Mirror, Mirror on the wall; who is the fairest on of all?"

"Definitely not me, I am an ugly orc with blue headlights shining. Next time I think you should get a Blood Elf version."

Know Your Lore: Current Alliance Politics -- the Night Elves page 2 {WoW}

May 10th 2010 1:28AM The last part would have been cooler as a in-game event. Have both the Horde and Alliance do it (Tauren and Night Elf involvement). Show Malfurion kill Staghelm's son, and Alexstrasza and Ysera heal the freaking tree and then get teleported out to Moonglade or the Temple in Dragonblight. I say this because freeing Ysera IS FREAKING HUGE as far as Lore goes. Do it along with the retaking of the Echo Isle and Gnomeregan.

I know, do all that in the Emerald Sanctum as part of a raid in the Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight. I say this because once again, Freeing Ysera is FREAKING HUGE in Lore. Reading a book versus in-game...In-game wins. More people would know it as a result.

Arcane Brilliance: An argument for raiding as a frost mage {WoW}

Mar 6th 2010 4:26AM As a raid leader and a tank, the latter doesn't really matter as much; I would rather take a DPS with constant dps that survives the whole fight, over one that has high dps for the first 1/2 of the fight but then dies and does none for the second 1/2.

Heroic Modes are all about high dps. But, DPS surviving 'til the end trump that. It helps healers immensely if a DPS could survive without a heal at a moment when healers are pre-occupied, say moving away from something or towards something (aka Festergut).

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: On Future Tanking, Page 2 {WoW}

Mar 5th 2010 4:48PM So before I post, I play a Prot Paladin and a Frost DK tank.

So I do like the idea of a stat focused threat generation. I do think it belongs on the wrong stat. Now I know that EVERY tank Stamina stacks, me too, and if you say you don't you are lying to yourself. But I think that if you are going to have threat generation scale off of a stat, I believe it should be Strength/Agility, depending on your class (DRUIDS!!!). I say Strength because all plate wearing tanks use it for another mitigation stat, Warrior & Paladin = Block/DK = Parry.

I think that Stam stacking was not WoW Dev teams' intention, though I could be wrong, and this would help solve the epidemic a little bit, by focusing threat on a different stat.

As for Druid tanks, I think they get that absorption shield from Agility, so it helps with that mitigation.
