Have Group, Will Travel replaced with faster flight paths, flask "Chug-A-Lug" perk removed {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 12:04PM This will mean FAR less "out in the world" for me. I won't be able to mess around with Arch while my guild raids form anymore. (They tend to NEVER be on at the start time. Rather trickle in 15 to 30 mins later. We're very casual about it.) Before i would always be out messing around. If they do away with the mass summon, guess who will need to be there with one of the other punctual players at the stone?? INSTEAD of out looking around.

Sep 23rd 2011 12:03PM Loop is correct. Items in the bank ARE counted. Silly I know. I had some high level pvp stuff I was trying to get off my in game item score and putting them in the bank made no difference.

Breakfast Topic: What size and frequency do you prefer for expansions? {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2011 9:43AM This is a VERY big deal when new players look at the game. Nobody want to buy 4 boxes to play one game. When a new X-pac comes out Blizz needs to have TWO boxes for sale. One with all the old content and one for the new X-pac. There are several people I work with that are interested, but have never tried it for this reason.

WoW Rookie: Understanding item levels and gear decisions {WoW}

Sep 1st 2011 7:00PM Ya. Weapons for the melee for sure. But really it pays to run the numbers and see. I put Vicious (level 371) rogue shoulders against Cariden Epaulettes (level 346) using the values from AskMrRobot for a level 85 combat rogue. Red agil gem in the 371 and a orange agil/haste gem in the 346. The I came up with a value of 1044.75 for the 346 and 1099.85 for the 371 pvp piece. So I'm just saying, check. You won't know till you do. And at the lower levels some of the old pvp gear BLOWS away other gear. (The low level stuff from WG and AB.)

Jun 3rd 2011 10:10PM Oh my. I didn't see the thread in a bit deeper. Now I see why you're not going to get it. Most people only use 3 to 8 or so spells regularly. (Varies with class and what tree you use.) What in the world do your keybindings look like. Wow. I think you may be a true one of a kind if you use EVERY spell all the time. And I'm not backing away from anything. I think there should be a split and you don't. That's that. And I think more people agree with the split than not. Nothing else to say.

Jun 3rd 2011 8:18PM I don't think anyone thinks they would bother splitting every spell. Why would they? Most spells mean little to balance. The core damage and healing spells that they nerf and buff all the time are the ones I've been talking about and would amount to what I would call a total split. (Sorry for being unclear.) And I really hope they get around seeing it this way. It would make the endless balance game MUCH easier for them and us to deal with.

Jun 3rd 2011 8:09PM >>Again? David, most people that are pro-split ARE talking about every spell. Even people in this same thread! Hell, *you* implied they would change every spell, just that most changes would be minor. Now it's just 4 or 5?

Jun 3rd 2011 5:05PM Again. You seem to think they would change EVERY spell. I would think if they ever did split spells (more than they do now) it would only be 4 or 5 core abilities. That would be more than enough to make very big changes to any class. And it wouldn't be the loooong drawn out process that it is now. They wouldn't have to think about what it would do to everyone else, just the pve or pvp impact. The nerfs or buffs could come quick and if it needed more adjustment it would be quick again. The way it is now classes are left swinging in the wind for months or longer while they try to figure out the changes.

Jun 3rd 2011 2:21PM Ah.. again. People just don't get that it would be great for BOTH sides if they would split it. It's not going to punish you if Blizz could react quicker with changes. And it would NOT make things that much harder to understand. Most changes would amount to no more than "spell does x amount of damage to a mob and x amount of damage to a player". Really makes that tooltip into a book I know. I think this and reaction to most changes just boil down to people don't like it when things might be a bit different. It MIGHT be bad, so don't do it.

Jun 3rd 2011 11:55AM It VERY silly that they still refuse to split pvp/pve all the way. There is no other single move they could make that would cut down more on the QQ. (Nothing would ever do away with it.) And they're doing it with more spells now anyway. CC anyone? It just seems pig headed at this point to me.
