All the World's a Stage: Roleplaying 101 {WoW}

Apr 5th 2010 6:06PM One thing to note about RP. If you are trying to break into the inner circles avoid NE Druid Males. They are by far the most complex to play. Especially, if you go traditional with it. Also know how to speek to RP folks or you won't get a single response. RP people have their main voice which is their tells, whispers, yells, etc. Unmodified.

Normal RP talk

Igor: Hi I'm Igor
Bat: Hi I'm Bat

When you modify your tells you can speak to people normally but they must be modified or they'll know you are a noob:

Modified:

Igor: ((Hey did you get my tell about the RP event))
Bat: ((Yah man that looks like fun))

The two abrevations signle to a RP'r I am talking in my RL voice please respond normally. Additionally, If you are trying to impress someone with your RP add in a little flare to your sentence with either a 'minus sign' or a 'star' signalling narritive speach.

Example:

Igor: *Igor looked around the room for a moment for Bat and discovers him in the corner* Hi Bat.
Bat: *Startled by hearing his name he tips his cap up and investigates. Upon seeing his old friend his spirits rise and he greets him warmly* Hi Igor!

Hope this helps you newcomers and welcome

Raid Rx: Healing Sindragosa {WoW}

Mar 18th 2010 7:15PM While this may sound like i'm not in my right mind: you can two heal this on 10 man. The dmg up to P3 non-existant. The boss doesn't hit hard and the raid takes minimal dmg. Additionally if you run two healers it frees up more DPS on boss to roll P3.

I always found the biggest problem with this fight is not watching the frozen breathe timer in P3. This boss swings very very slowly. It is possible to be LOS of tank for a considerable amount of time before going back in to start healing them. If you're watching the breathe counter you should start preloading hots, heals and everything you have prior to it going off. Once she's done take care of raid and yourself. Really the tank gib was my guild's biggest killer. The DPS were not to difficult to heal up. I would warn you're melee dps to watch their trinket procs stacking debuffs. If you can manage the ice blocks and run out of aoe explosion you're guild is 85% of the way through this fight. It comes down to intelligent healing at that point.

If you have a holy pally keep in mind judgements do not cause stacks so judge light and profit.

Maintenance day loot from WoW.com {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 12:38PM Lucky 7:

I believe that I should have the loot card.
Though not winning today will surely suck.
Yet I’ll sit reserved and be on the guard
Remaining hopeful for a bit of luck.

You see, I am not a rich man in life
Nor blessed with the vast knowledge of the wise.
So a gift, such as this, would be so nice
To help a soul like mine battle the strife.

Wander the pages of comments today,
Choose your winners and loser without doubt,
Carry on dear friend and forget what I say,
For the paths we walk have only one route.

Do not ask for the endless existence
But hope, dream and remain the resistant.

Note: this is pseudo Iambic pentameter. Shakespeare would slap me and tear up my English degree, lol.

You should be able to do it. I love Disc priest such great healers. The only fight we have not two healed is Lich King since we have not had that many attempts on him as of yet. The rest of the fights we have two healed easily. We even run a single healer sometimes lol (Saurfang).

I'd make a note that your DPS has to be solid because obviously the more time that passes the more chances the rng can gib you. When one of the healers has to run out and drop fire on teh sides of the room it can be quite entertaining. Downing the boss quickly will help you avoid this happening multiple times.

Mar 11th 2010 6:17PM You can actually two heal this on ten man. It's not easy but it is possible. Myself (Holy Pally) and a Shaman did it. The way we went about it is he stood in with melee and chain healed keeping everyone in that radius keeping them alive. I would throw heals between three ranged dps (FoL) myself and the off tank. Keep beacon up or its over. If two people got linked they would run to the middle of the room and meet up on the diamond clearing the debuff. A Mod will guide your bites so its very easy to manage that. Make sure you have shadow resist or the aura up as it makes the aoe dmg very tame. Also chain judgements of light to cut down the raid dmg further.

Again difficult to do but after getting comfortable with the flow of dmg it becomes easier and makes the fight go considerably faster.

Good Luck
