Mar 22nd 2011 9:50AM As a Holy Paladin with decent pre-raid gear (352) I can pretty much un-screw-up most encounters, so I don't dread any specific dungeons. When I'm in a bad group though, I do dread certain boss encounters - typically the ones with unforgiving mechanics.
1. Corla, Blackrock Caverns. I can heal through one of the guys evolving. Two or more, I'm OOM before the end.
2. Dragha, Grim Batol. I can't tell you how many 8 or 9 minute fights I've been in with only one DPS left alive because people won't kite the flame add, or move from where it spawns.
3. Karsh Steelbender, Blackrock Caverns. 10 stacks on the pull is not ok.
4. The Gauntlet, Deadmines. Maybe you never played Super Mario Bros. before, but I still don't think that's a good excuse.
Nov 23rd 2010 3:31PM I just want to know why, at this point in the life of World of Warcraft, Blizzard still even begins with a 5AM-11AM Pacific time window on patch day. It should be fairly obvious to them (as it is quite obvious to every player out there) that the servers aren't going to be up at 11AM on patch day.
It's like setting a release date for Duke Nukem Forever. We don't even get excited anymore.
Apr 12th 2010 2:13PM I don't know about the rest of you, but I play this game for one reason and one reason alone: demeaning those whom I feel are inferior to me. Which, as their luck would have it, is everybody.
You play the game for fun, you say? This game shouldn't be a job, you say? Stop dry-humping my corpse, you say? Hogwash! These are the blubbering sentiments of the noob, the perpetual QQ of the habitually inferior. This game is war, and it is as serious as Sindrigosa. You supposedly enjoy playing, and yet you don't have a max-level character? You have not played, sir!
Enough talk, I have a Trade Chat to troll, having already completed all raids this week on all 17 of my level 80 characters! Mom! Bring me my Lean Pockets™!
Mar 16th 2010 9:09AM Your gearscore is not what makes your mana regen good. It's your itemization.
Mar 16th 2010 8:38AM The reason you cram all the DPS in the corner is because DPS are, as a general rule, dumb. You can't trust them to not start AoEing as soon as the ghosts get to the stage, gain the attention of one of them, die, and rage quit.
