Apr 27th 2010 9:43AM I also think it related to how long you have been playing WoW and what you did before. I started playing a bit after TBC was released and when I hit 70 I just played PVP didn't have any desire whatsoever to PVE at that time. Enter Wrath. I started raiding and I have had many many moments that felt epic. And lots of fun.
Had I raided all the way since vanilla, then the experience might just have been different.
Apr 16th 2010 9:15AM I concur. Rebirth is an amazing ability. It just feels so wrong that in about 90% of the time it's used to res a dps that stood in fire, over aggroed or something else that could have been easily avoided.
It be som much more fun if it were used to res that tank or a healer to push out that final needed healing, instead of resing a dps and kill the boss two seconds faster. Ofcourse that happens but it's a rare sight. I guess I want more epic moments :)
Apr 15th 2010 9:08AM My main character is a druid and I'm used to my flight form. A while back I started a DK to join a friend leveling through Outland. When we where done with a quest I hurled myself of a cliff - clicking my flight form button - alas my DK did not have flight form. My friend found this hilarious though :)
Apr 15th 2010 8:14AM On the first day of 3.3 I was running heroic PoS and the hilt dropped, I had no clue what it was, but since everyone else need rolled so did I. I won the hilt. And a DK started to make a fuss about me winning. So I just gave it to him to shut him up. I figured I can't use swords anyway.
I didn't know they sold for so much and that I could have gotten a spell mace from it. Since then I do my homework better...
Apr 13th 2010 9:52AM Wouldn't it be likely that they just add portals to the old cities? Or at least one of them, since people will spend most of their time in the old world. New cities (and really close to other major cities) seems like a real waste, a fun starting town is just what gnomes and trolls need.
Apr 6th 2010 9:52AM A few suggestions not including acctual addons.
* Don't keep the game windowed. Hit Cmd+M when you need to reach other applications. And hit it again to return to full screen mode.
* Buy an external monitor. If you're on a budget keep your eye out for a used one. That way you can run your game on a big monitor and keep your IMs and stuff on the small built-in monitor.
Mar 17th 2010 8:19AM I would never play a Forsaken character. They CANNOT be trusted! And I'm also not very fond of playing any melee class at all.
