Breakfast Topic: Were you impressed with the Mists of Pandaria press event? {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 8:19AM There was lots of information thrown at us to sort out and digest, but its yet to be seen if any or all of it actually make it in as explained. There is always changes and updates so it doesn't seem prudent to get to excited until we know what makes the cut. Thats why there is very little sense in complaining or reaping praise until we know for sure what we are dealing with and the playability of it.

Ghostcrawler on the philosophy behind the Mists of Pandaria talent trees {WoW}

Dec 8th 2011 1:45PM Just to let you know im very happy that the game allows casual players to enjoy themselves and i am grateful for all the subscriber base BUT end game content should not be for all. It cheapens what people work as a team to accomplish I wont take anything away from Casual players but don't take the fun away from hard core raiders and guild members.

Ghostcrawler on the philosophy behind the Mists of Pandaria talent trees {WoW}

Dec 8th 2011 1:12PM The talent builds are not the problem here, that's just subterfuge to cover the real issue which is the dumbing down of the game. With the change in Raid lockouts wiping out 25 man guild raids and with the new content being so easy, there is no longer any reason for people to be loyal to guilds. The raid finder is the final shot an under-geared non guild member can now complete the end game content. Once upon a time when you saw people walking around town with raid gear on you were impressed now not even legendaries are special. Add to that the cartoonish nature of the next expansion, it should be abundantly clear that Blizzard is doing 2 things:
1. Moving to a casual based game
2. pandering to a younger crowd, and not addressing the older established guild members.

This means lots of big changes in the future for WOW:
1. loss of hard core players to other games ( see SWTOR )
2. a totally different feel to the community at large.

Breakfast Topic: What's your most anticipated patch 4.3 feature? {WoW}

Nov 29th 2011 8:30AM I anticipate enjoying this patch, because its the last one before the WOW Cartoon antics start. In the next patch my Rogue's new ability will be the Hippo Hurricane Holler, and we will all have to choose if we play "Duck Season" or Rabbit Season" and all Worgens will be part of the new Elmo Faction ( Mortal enemies of the Grovers)...
