Dec 1st 2010 6:16PM Is the $5 WoW/BC and $10 Wrath sale already gone? If so, I'm very upset at myself for not buying it for my friend sooner. >:(

Nov 29th 2010 2:20PM What happened to the achievement and the "endless mode" for the Peacebloom vs. Ghouls minigame? I was just getting the hang of it!

The Queue: I am serious about that last question {WoW}

Nov 17th 2010 1:12PM So I have about 30 quests left in Kalimdor before I finish my Loremaster achievement. I'm having trouble finding these last quests and I was wondering if I should hold off till Cataclysm to see if more open up. Or will that somehow reset my quests and make me start all over again?

Breakfast Topic: The GM's wife {WoW}

Oct 27th 2010 1:23PM My husband and I play together, but he is definitely the more outgoing one. When he finds a guild that he wants to be a part of, I seem to come as part of the package. On the outside, I know this looks weird. "Can my wife get an invite too?" Like I'm merely tagging along. But anyone willing to get to know me, or let me in their raid would soon figure out that I pull my own weight. I compete with my husband. He's a mage, I'm a warlock... and we'll fight over the top of the dps chart. And when warlocks fell behind, I rolled a druid, got her to 80 as quick as I could and collected epics to skyrocket my gearscore above his in no time just to prove to him I could. When we play, we're in constant competition, so he keeps me on my toes, I keep him on his. It's not that we come as a package deal in hinder someone's guild... we're both good players, and keep each other striving to be better.

The Queue: Now, that's a beard {WoW}

Aug 26th 2010 1:35PM I've asked this before but didn't really get a straight answer, so I'll try again! I have a friend who I'm just now getting into WoW. She still only has
a trial account but so far she's loving it. But what she's really
excited about is making a Forsaken Hunter once Cataclysm comes out.
So, some questions:
If my friend just purchases Vanilla WoW will she be able to create a
Forsaken Hunter when Cataclysm comes out or will she need to purchase
Cataclysm to unlock the Forsaken Hunter option?
And if she does need Cataclysm is it possible for her to buy Vanilla
and Cataclysm and skip the other two expansions until she's lvl

Also, a slightly related question:
Do you know if there's any plans to bundle expansions or drop prices
on previous expansions? Getting my friend into this game I'm just now
realizing how expensive it is to start from scratch.

The Queue: A debut {WoW}

Jul 20th 2010 2:42PM They used to, once upon a time. But then it became necessary for all hunters to have the exact same pet with the exact same model kinda thing. Blizz made the decision to make the distinction between pets species based instead of individual pet based. So a devilsaur is a devilsaur and a wolf is a wolf, and the hunter has a little bit more of a choice just how they want their pet to look.
