Mar 18th 2010 9:28AM In Raids, Always. In heroics, you will be lucky nowadays, as some people do not even care to buff, as heroics are so faceroll at the moment.
However on the flip side of the coin, if i run the LFD tool, and there is a few undergeared people in there, I will on most occasions drop a feast for them, to help them out in dps etc. Why? Simple, I remember being a new 80 in heroics..and soon enough we will all be back in green and blues again, with Cataclysm on its way. Soon(tm)
Mar 18th 2010 9:19AM Great Article as always. As a hunter main myself, one pet that you left out of the list, is the Spider ( level 80s in Icecrown etc) are also great for PVP. With there web ability, range of 30 yards.
PVP though for hunter, is imo, one of two things:
a: Enter in all PVE gear, and sure blow things up, if your geared, but your pet gets no resilance from you, hence your pet gets one shotted
b: Enter in all PVP gear, and not blow things up so much..(cough) and your pet gets a higher chance of survival..which if your a good hunter, and good at pet managment in PVP, will make a diffrence.
The whole avoidance thing, and pet resilance, can gimp hunters in PVP, somewhat. Sorry for long post.
Mar 17th 2010 8:30AM I am the same, I have tried, but failed to roll a rogue. There playstyle just does not intrigue me. This may have led to the reason why I now hate rogues and everything about them. I guess I found it boring, to play one, with such a simple rotation.
I live for pet classes, got a hunter (main) a warlock, which are not as fun , but I enjoy them,( human at the moment, soon to be a Worgen, and for some bizarre reason I have an 80 Shadow/Disc Priest. But Rogues, No not for me.
