5 things WoW could learn from Star Wars: The Old Republic {WoW}

Dec 13th 2011 1:22PM Yes, you can turn on subtitles for all dialog.

That scary GearScore/Real ID screenshot is fake, guys {WoW}

Except that that has absolutely NO bearing on private contracts between private entities...

You do not have ANY 1st amendment RIGHT on Blizzard's forum or games, so using a constitutional argument is a straw man here.

I agree that this is bad on Blizzard's part, but you have to make the decision for yourself if this is worth paying the fee for...

If it is, shut up and color...

If it isn't, take your ball and go home...

Addons 101: The basics {WoW}

Jun 30th 2010 6:51PM @Cataca

If you setup ArkInventory the way you WANT, it will sort things the way you WANT... Simple really. You can always change it by clicking the little gear at the top of the bag window and right-clicking whatever it is you want moved and then changing it's category...

If you just want to move things around and have them stay in that spot, use the WoW UI. Just use the "Shift-b" key bind to open all bags. You won't waste the cpu/ram resources that way.

Mar 23rd 2010 3:05PM For Trade Chat spam, one other option is to add a new tab to your chat window and throw all trade chat to that tab in the chat options. Then, when you want it, you can just tab over to it.

Patch 3.3.3 PTR patch notes [Updated] {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2010 11:19PM You guys need to read the rest of the patch notes...

The first time you get a holiday boss each day you will get a bag. EVERYONE will get this same bag. Anything that the boss MIGHT drop will be in THAT bag that EVERYONE in the group who is doing it for the FIRST TIME THAT DAY gets.

So, you won't need to worry about rolling for that mount anymore. Or that helmet or sword, or whatever... It will be in the bag you get, or it won't... You won't roll...

The Daily Blues {WoW}

Mar 17th 2010 9:41AM I would suggest that DPSers (like me, most of the time) should create the following macro in place of the normal WoW "assist" function and bind it:

/assist [@focus,exists][@pet,exists][@target]

Set your focus to the tank, then just spam your assist button when the tank stops the initial pull and then after each target dies. This should keep you on the tank's primary target, most of the time.
