Breakfast Topic: How do you deal with self-entitled puggers? {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 2:07PM I read posts about pulling and dropping group, purposefully not healing tanks, etc., and it makes me shake my head. Why should I look like a poor player in front of the rest of the group because of someone else's behavior? I'm not sacrificing my personal integrity to prove a point to a pugger. I do the job I contracted to when I entered LFG, and do it to the best of my ability; it's just right and proper. If the group won't let me do that job, I drop. And so does my blood pressure right after ;)

I've found that a simple "hey all :)" after zoning in does a lot to set a positive tone. My pet peeves? Mr. "OMG GOOOOO" and players who call people by their class/role, not their names. Most folks are much more likely to notice their names used (especially with Chatter installed) than a noun.

Breakfast Topic: Who is your unsung Cataclysm hero? {WoW}

May 8th 2011 12:47PM For me, it's Salhet. Helping him go to winner from chicken dinner is something I plan to do on all of my toons as I level.

Breakfast Topic: Thank you for the music {WoW}

Mar 19th 2010 9:10AM I adore the music; it's such an integral part of the whole experience of a zone or instance. I own the soundtracks and play them at work, since I can't log on. Like most folks, I turn it off for raids, but I always crank it up for heroics and questing because the music is so right, so much a part of the total experience.

Totems of the Grizzlemaw- I love this one. Makes farming salmon so pleasant. I can smell the mountain air and see the eagles wheeling overhead.

Outland suite- This one breaks my heart every time. So melancholy, mourning a shattered world. Reminds me of flying over Nagrand, one of my favorite zones ever.

Elwynn Forest- Excellent chillout music. I can still remember those long walks from quest to quest through a beautiful zone, back when I first started playing.

Kara's organ music- Good times. Every time I hear it, I remember the triumphs and short runs back to the gate from a wipe.

The Sin'dorei- To me, this sounds like a Bergman film. I always expected to see Death out there doing his Shattered Sun dailies. Hopefully, one day we'll all have to go back to the island /locke
