Apr 3rd 2012 5:29PM I suspect that the length of maintenance is tied algorithmically to the number of forum posts and replies on the subject of extended maintenance.
They take the number of posts/replies, square it, and then add 60. That equals the number of minutes maintenance will be extended.
Mar 27th 2012 8:44AM Ten man is harder because every person counts. No one can be carried. Every member of the raid team has to be on the ball and know their stuff, and a single mistake can wipe the raid, whereas in 25-man there is more flexibility.
Time for you to take your head out of your nether-regions.
Mar 23rd 2012 3:33PM I will be supremely satisfied if and only if the killing blow comes from Vol'jin, and I say that as an Alliance player who has dabbled Horde side. The cherry on the cake would be all Orcs being kicked back to Draenor. You broke it, you bought it.
Orcs don't belong on Azeroth and it's time they were shown the door.
Mar 5th 2012 12:21PM I hope that someone faces sanctions for clear ineptitude. Pardon me for expecting some degree of competence in those who are the recipients of my hard earned cash.
Mar 5th 2012 12:04PM I'm a fairly tolerant person, but this is really starting to burn my bisquits. I sincerly hope someone gets fired over this, and I don't often say that sort of thing.
Mar 2nd 2012 12:49AM It isn't fair at all. A person could go literally an entire tier without getting any upgrades whilst someone else could get decked out and vendor all subsequent wins. At some point the Raid Leader/Officers need to step up and say "Hey, glad you loving your 5 set. The rest of the gear goes to someone else now till they are geared."
Raids don't work effectively with a huge spread in gearing and/or dps, they work best when everyone improves synchronously.
Not only that, but how can you keep people motivated to run week after week for months with no tangible reward for their work and dedication to the group's efforts. Downing Ultraxion just stops being a thrill after the nth time, ya know.
Feb 10th 2012 1:21PM Although not technically a 'home', my favourite hidden place in game is the Elf ruins at the northernmost tip of Eastern Kingdoms. It's location mirrors that of Eversong Woods, but you can only get there by flying/swimming/water walking up the coast of EK. Before Cata I took my DK for a coastal tour of both continents to see what I could see, and reached the ruins as the moon was hanging heavily just above the horizon; truly breathtaking.
Jan 13th 2012 5:02PM With pleasure oh person totally void of social skills.
Dec 16th 2011 9:40AM A fire breathing murloc, what's not to love?
Dec 16th 2011 9:38AM Ooh! Me please. I've been good.
