Apr 16th 2010 9:12AM IIRC the reason for reducing the really long cooldowns was that it meant that for every 1 in 4 or 5 or 6 attempts you had a big advantage. They felt that once they reduced these cooldowns to once every attempt they could balance them so that it wasn't a huge advantage. What they didn't realize was there isn't much balancing that you can do to a binary spell like rebirth.
IMO they should either leave it as it is or replace it with a defensive cooldown like the one paladins and priests have or a offensive cooldown like what shamans have.
Mar 30th 2010 9:13PM I wonder if they also allow (1) sale of in-game currency i.e. gold etc. (2) if they allow players to trade items to each other for money.
I have heard many people espouse their opinion, that sale of currency would cause hyper-inflation, as fact. Under the right circumstances, i.e. when sale of gold doesn't increase gold supply to the market, this should not be the case. Anyways, I would be curious if any MMOs have allowed the sale of currency and what effect it has had on their in-game markets.

Mar 23rd 2010 9:17PM Sky, you did not read my comments properly because I simply suggested that they go more in depth into a few topics rather than just a superficial coverage of news. I listed pvp and crafting as topics that they could cover which I would enjoy but of course I would enjoy them talking about any aspect of the game as long as it is done in depth.
Mar 23rd 2010 4:43PM These are all excellent changes.
A few more I would suggest:
1. I don't think most people care what matt or anyone else has been up to in WOW. It feels more like a blog about their characters in podcast. I think the emphasis should move from what they did in WoW last week to what happened in WoW last week.
2. Bring some columnists to talk about one or two topic in depth. I don't understand why you don't leverage the content on this website more. I would suggest pvp and crafting since those are things I find interesting.
3. Some of the hosts have a tendency to repeat themselves or repeat what someone else has already said on the show. They also tend to talk over each other which is super annoying.
