Apr 3rd 2012 3:55AM Wow! So i'm dumb just because I've not been in the beta so I wouldn't know about placeholder npc's. Bit harsh really but I guess keyboard-warrior skills are all the rage these days.
Apr 2nd 2012 2:11PM Anne just posted in another column that there's an npc vendor in the Jade Temple dungeon that will sell you any glyphs you're missing that you can use from level 86. Now is that just a place holder npc so you can trial and error the fight with different glyphs for testing or is this npc actually going to be there in live meaning scribes are going to have a massive loss in trade.
From what i could see the npc price of glyphs was 4 silver each but this is on a testing server so I'm more than curious to know if it's just a testing thing.
Apr 2nd 2012 2:01PM Really? He sells you glyphs that you're missing? Haha, all those scribes expecting a repeat of Glyphmas when Cataclysm launched are in for a big shock, then :)

That put me in absolute stitches. I nearly fell off my chair and I thank you very much for that :)
Mar 22nd 2012 4:31PM What was said about getting an authenticator. Everyone has a smart phone.. It's crazy not to just install the App and protect your account. Why would you NOT do this. Prevent so many potential problems if someone does try to get your account.
I've seen lots of mates and fellow guildees get caught out with scams and it's painful getting it all sorted again. And don't forget you even get a free pet for doing it.
Mar 21st 2012 3:55PM I'm going to look at several things depending how much time we've got playing the beta. Blizz has said they're inviting people in waves but I don't see any mention of wether once you're in you can stay in. First off I'll copy over my druid and check out the new zones for mining and herbing. Hardly exciting but I'm seriously considering having a go at a realm first for this expansion and I think one of those two is going to be the easiest way to do it as you can't really get any guild help.
I remember some nut-case power-levelling from 60-70 in 24 hours when BC went live and someone getting a whole guild involved in farming fast spawn areas to get him to 85 for world first when Cataclysm happened.
This is bound to happen again for the world first 90 and I suspect the other professions are going to have some kind of epic mats requirement that will prevent them from being power-leveled so gathering or skinning might be the only option.
I'm also going to bring over my holy priest main after that so I can get myself into pugs to check out the viability of the new dungeons for my guild to run through as we're not hard-core players by any scale and struggled a lot with the Cataclysm heroics at the start.
After that i'm getting me a female panda monk because they are so adorable I just want to hug all of them :)
Mar 18th 2012 10:24AM Grr that was a comment to an earlier post. Stupid comment system. Downvote to oblivion as you wish.
Mar 18th 2012 10:23AM THIS!!! PLEASE!!! Warlock tanking would just feel so MAD. Love it.
Mar 13th 2012 3:47PM All you Warlock haters have your say, sure, but there's people out there who love their 'Locks and still get a kick out of playing them.
Mine was my first level 85 and I play all 10 of the classes. I reckon he'll be my first character to level to 90 as well.
For some reason - without deliberately stereo-typing here - I've always thought of Warlock players as being of an older generation and tend to disrupt groups less compared to a lot of Mages that seem to constantly pull mobs if they think the tank is a bit too slow in randoms and generally just annoy everyone in LFR. Maybe that's just because it's easier to play a mage than handle all the Banes and DOTS that a Warlock has to mess with.
If I had to give up either my Warlock or Mage then the Warlock get's the cookie and the Mage gets the bin, no question.
Nov 9th 2011 1:29PM Haha first post is such an arsehole.
