Nov 4th 2011 1:35PM The naval battle around pandaria has surely been raging for some time already. We were on our way to participate before we were dragged down to vashj'ir.

The theramore incident sounds like tasty event fodder though.

Oct 27th 2011 1:05PM Whislt I'm not necessarily suggesting they should make the change for all classes, I do look forward to seeing combat without over-lapping and sometimes missing animations.

With a monk every movement should yield a number, properly hooked into the animation for visual fidelity. I imagine combat will look a lot more polished before you even consider the extra detail and animation being lavashed upon them...

Oct 27th 2011 1:01PM It's all actually very simple.

You cannot use paid services on a character below level 10. Pandaran pick a faction at level 10. Your Pandaran will be horde or alliance, if you want to change to/from that you pick the relevant service. Are you faction changing or staying where you are?

I'm sure it will catch some people out when it goes live anyway.

Oct 27th 2011 12:46PM Pinnacle does a far better job than Switchblade. A long way off of proper keyboard and mouse, but so much better than Switchblade.

For a time I had:
Analogue sticks offering normal FPS-style controls (left stick move, right stick look)
Shoulder bumpers cycling enemies
Face buttons and d-pad for skills
Triggers as modifiers (so left trigger plus+A would be another skill)
Start brought up the cursor.

It was actually very nearly workable, and a lot more comfortable than keyboard and mouse. Targetting wasn't ideal (as all tab target folk can attest) and the biggest hurdle was turning speed, WoW's interface offers no way to speed up or accelerate it.

I DK tanked past Yogg-Saron before caving in and playing properly.

Oct 27th 2011 12:38PM Lore-wise you'd expect Forsaken to speak the same language as the alliance races. Although I guess some of them lack the jaw for it.

Oct 17th 2011 1:28PM So let me get this straight;

Matt Rossi wants to fight death wing... wearing stilettos?

Breakfast Topic: Have you ever seen anyone RP a peon? {WoW}

Oct 11th 2011 8:29AM I dabbled in LotRO's RP server for a while, and was genuinely staggered by the roleplaying going on there. The was the one person that always seemed to be online, working as a waitress in the pub. There were a couple of people dressed as guards standing outside a bedroom, warning people off of disturbing the player that was resting there.

I can't imagine doing that myself, but I loved the general atmosphere on that server. Didn't even see anyone trying to wind up or troll them, they just got on with their weirdy beardy playstyle.

Sep 30th 2011 1:00PM 1 ego-fuelled know-it-all to every 24 normal people queuing? Just run a typical BG in any bracket and you will see that there are more than enough "leaders".

Question is, can you take the inevitable use of caps lock?

Addon Spotlight: Community choice #3 {WoW}

Dec 24th 2010 7:05AM That's nice, but what i really want is the ability to set marks for me personally even when I am in the group. I'd like to be able to mark allies in BGs or whatever I want to be able to indentify without those marks intruding on the UI of everyone else in the group. Not seen an add-on that does that, is it impossible?
