Dec 23rd 2010 9:50AM Yeah this, my single most wanted feature. An outfit/display/vanity tab.
World - Friendly [x] Hostile [x]
BG/Arena - Friendly [x] Hostile [x]
Dungeon/Raid - Friendly [x]
Dec 23rd 2010 9:40AM Dye would be a nice start, but I'd rather see a full outfitting system per LotRO. Display whatever gear you want so long as you own it (and are elligable to wear it). WoW has a huge catalogue of items now, the choice and diversity would be huge.
Dec 3rd 2010 12:36PM I don't RP but I do collect gear that I think looks cool or suits the character. I do so in the hopes that one day Blizzard will implement a "vanity" or "outfit" system that lets you display whatever armour you want.
Nov 25th 2010 8:26AM Red gems are simple, the choices come in the colours. They were trying to push people to use those colours more at level 85. They probably had to change the restrictions on the existing metas to prevent them from being the optimal choice at 85.
It was a "stupid idea", but it doesn't fit very well with socket bonuses and hybrid gems, and the fact that blues just aren't that interesting. So they reversed it.
Hopefully the increased socket bonus value and new worth of blue gems (hit) will make gemming more interesting than "all red and stick a nightmare tear in the slot that nets the biggest socket bonus".
Nov 24th 2010 7:42AM Because Rain of Fire was increased. Yey!
Nov 24th 2010 5:23AM They aren't harder to gather, not at all. Or at least they wont be when we can fly all over.
But a typical glyph seller does not gather, they buy. Older herbs from lands less travelled are generally in much lower supply.
I have many inks of the sea, and many northrend herbs. I'll obviously be able to resume the trade with Cataclysm herbs, but the launch of the expansion is a VERY lucrative time to sell glyphs, and with so many people blocked out it just got a whole lot better for those crafty buggers that kept it secret!
Nov 18th 2010 1:30PM Oh and more on topic, the gold that gets moved around the auction house or bought (moved from hacked accounts) all gets generated and enters into the economy from something as basic as questing and loot. Reducing the rewards from those things will certainly hit the economy. You might find your friendly "Hello friend Best price gold for you now 10% free" guy raising his prices...
Nov 18th 2010 1:26PM @Cutaia
You wait 2 years for some fresh levelling content, and then try to skip it by running (of all things) argent tournament dailies? I'm surprised, you didn't strike me as a "race to world first" kinda guy!
Nov 12th 2010 5:22AM I've been hunting around for a simple add-on that will let me position my rage/focus/energy bar wherever I please, and I've been drawing blanks because everyone seems to want their mod to do more than that.
This add-on definitely does more, but it totally does it right!
Nov 9th 2010 11:20AM Not so sure on that stamina answer. If Blizzard have their way then you'll be wanting a nice balance of stamina and avoidance. Stamina to absorb the blows, avoidance to save the healer some mana. Time will tell though.
