Spiritual Guidance: Do's and don't's of priest healing {WoW}

Jun 20th 2010 2:46PM Buffs are likewise nice for pets. This is usually most forgotten in Dungeons and BGs.

Spiritual Guidance: Do's and don't's of priest healing {WoW}

Jun 20th 2010 2:42PM I find Holy Nova has been great in ICC. Especially on the LK fight. All the clothies go into my party, we all stand together. So if I haven't been able to bubble those in my group before infest hits I can quickly hit Holy Nova and voila! Everyone is topped off. Works in most ICC fights as long as you are near most of the people in your party. Also useful after raid buffs are applied, the faster everyone is topped off the faster you can get down to killing things!

Raid Rx: Healing indecision {WoW}

Jun 5th 2010 2:35PM Being a priest I've found that in a situation where say a rogue and a mage are taking equal dmg. I choose to bubble the rogue and then heal the mage, then go back and heal the rogue. Now say the rogue has pulled aggro and the mage is simply taking normal raid dmg. Bubble the mage, heal the rogue. Priorities also change based on what role toons play. If its a healer vs a dps, the choice is usually to give the healer priority. Same with tanks. (note this tactic can change if the dps has a crucial role to play, but like the article says healing something vs nothing is always a good option) There's always gonna be hard choices to make, but the sign of a good healer isn't just making the right choice, but making any choice. You will learn the right choices with time :)

Scattered Shots: Five secrets for not being a terrible hunter {WoW}

May 18th 2010 1:52AM I'm positive Bella knows how us healers feel. On my main I learned early on to scream at the DPS to run AT the tank not AWAY.

Also the FD thing made me laugh. My hunter and I have a system set up if he pulls. He pulls, I bubble him, he FDs, I aggro, I Fade, tank gets aggro back :) Mind you...this is not nice to do to tanks you don't know. But it is super fun to mess with your regular tanking friend.

Apr 3rd 2010 3:55AM Honestly crit will vary since haste is a big one to stack too. Its all in your play style. 30%ish crit fully buffed isn't bad at this point, if you've balanced it with more haste. I tank heal for my raid but I also bubble spam the raid when I'm not busy so finding a nice mid range for crit vs haste stacking is ok if you're doing a little of everything. Again all in play style or what your guild/raid needs from you.

Apr 3rd 2010 3:09AM I love this article. I've been playing like this for the past year and for some reason very few priests on my server play this way. Another thing to count on as a Disc priest is raids asking why you aren't topping the charts in heals.

Download Guessed Absorbs for recount

Then add that to ur healing. You ARE topping the charts, its just no one else can see it since recount doesn't add in bubbles :) They can account for half or more of your "heals" cause they are mitigating that much damage.
