Soloing in World of Warcraft {WoW}

Oct 27th 2006 12:28PM I understand where most are comming from when they said raid loot is for raiders. The only problem I have with this is that raiding does not require highly skilled players but is a time sink. I've done MC, ZG, AQ and stopped because I realized that, even though a lot of the players were weaker skillwise than my static 5 man, the only folks who got loot were those who had nothing but time to build DKP. I stopped playing because I favor the 5-10 man instances. I am a casual gamer who has done raids on some vacation time and I have to say that the 25 man raid was good news. Even better news was the ability to select "Hard" mode on instances. I don't know it's just me but I now hate Scholo, Strath, DM, BRS, and UBRS because they have been nerfed way too much. So at least the casual guys will now be able to turn up the difficulty for better loot.

Burning Crusade talent updates {WoW}

Oct 24th 2006 3:44PM What a surprise...remember when they reduced SoC to 75% weapon damage...hello nerf bat. And to think I was actually considering my pally as a main character again. Looks like I'll keep my Hunter who will be in God mode with the super overpowered BM tree, but remember pallys need nerfed.

Breakfast Topic: New BC Spells and Talents {WoW}

Oct 10th 2006 12:39PM Personally I think rogues got screwed. The talents we recieved are not even close to being on par with the other classes. Already Fury warriors can keep up with rogues in damage. We can still edge them out most of the time but at least they have survivability, damage, and group utility. They also get a nice boost in damage with the new talents (adrenaline rush 41pt with half the cooldown). Rogues got crappy 41 point talents. Come on Mutilate would be good if it didn't require the target to be poisoned and had the same crit rate as BS but most will pass on it. Combat's talent is a joke and will hardly raise DPS at all especially for PvE when you stay behind your target to avoid missing as much. I would say hunters got the most love. They get hit with a nerf bat on AP but all ranged weapons get a significant DPS increase and the Beastmaster tree is sick (30% Attack Speed ftw).

Breakfast Topic: Addon changes in the Burning Crusade {WoW}

Oct 9th 2006 10:52AM I'm glad to see the change mainly because I think it cripples players into button spamers. But that's my personal opinion. I've never used decursive and have not had any problems removing debuffs from my raids. As far as the 40 bars on your screen...yeah that sucks big time. At least the raids are dropping to 25 people which should help that a little bit. Another plus of the 25 person raid is that weaker players won't be able to hide behind strong ones as much.

Huge addon changes in the Burning Crusade {WoW}

Oct 7th 2006 12:09PM Thank heavens!! Now people will actually have to play their class instead of relying on a mod to do it for them. And for all of you who say "obviously you've never played a cleanse class" I play a pally in MC without the decursive crap cause I pay attention and stay on top of things. And come on be serious who's not tired of seeing n00b pallys in full epics who do nothing other than mash single keys to heal/cleanse without actually having to think about it.
