Apr 10th 2010 3:43AM CRAP! you're right. . .hmm. . .i think mages are missing life tap. . .oh wait. . .
Permanent pets? wait. . .water elemental. . .
tanking? wait. . i've seen way too many fights requiring a mage tank. . .
this might take me a while to find something that they don't have or blizzard can't find a reason not to give them in future expansions. . .
Apr 10th 2010 3:38AM so its okay for all classes to be the same? might as well give mages stealth and call it goods.

Knowing how they are spreading around the abilities to every class i wouldn't be surprised. They gave shamans a polymorph as hex, AOE heals and damage to shamans, Gave heroism to mages, took away triple tanking trees from DKs to make them just like the other tanks, etc. . . I love you blizz, but in a couple years it looks like every class is gonna be exactly the same, heck, might as well give all the classes to all the races since there seem to be way too many people out there that want undead paladins and tauren rogues. . .
Apr 10th 2010 3:19AM Seriously? they gave mages heroism? not only that, but a heroism - except BETTER! I'm personally a little bit annoyed at this change. Granted, TIME WARP is just the best name for a mage spell and fits in perfectly with the class. But why a haste buff? why not a decrease to the enemy haste or something? Having a main character as a shammy, one of the most favorite things i like about my class is casting heroism. Probably one of the few reasons people bring me into raids anymore. It's my favorite spell, and to me it's like them giving paladins the ability to use fan of knives. Sure, heroism/bloodlust is not a class defining spell. But it's a big one, and probably one of my favorite spells in the game. The fact that it shares the exhaustion debuff is probably the one thing i have wrong with it, since if that little mage casts time warp then i can't cast my heroism! lol

Apr 8th 2010 1:02AM Why not a healing Lock pet? That's probably one of the few pet ideas they haven't done. They have ranged and melee dps pets, two tanking pets, a mana stealing pet, two small havoc wreaking pets that only last a short amount of time. Why not a healing minion? Maybe something that saps health from the enemy to give to the lock, or perhaps saps health from the lock and gives it to other party members? it would be like an enhancement shaman laying down an extra healing stream totem. A great support and defensive minion for tough situations.
Apr 5th 2010 10:55PM Feral spirit, Elemental and earth totems (and all the elemental quests), cleanse spirit, and several other shaman things would like a word with you. Granted, elementals are different then spirits, but they definitenly go along the same line in terms of stuff when it comes to magic.
