Jun 16th 2011 5:00PM Am I the only weirdo who, at the very end of the Nespirah quest chain ("Once we make our escape, she will activate her biological defenses and destroy the naga from within"), swam out a fair distance and turned around, waiting for something amazing to happen? I half-hoped to see her lift herself out of the sand swim away. But... nothing. It was one of few major quest chains I've done in Cata that left me feeling unfulfilled at the end.
Jun 1st 2011 1:20PM Hay Chase, sorry for the nitpick, but Assassin's Resolve (Mut) and Vitality (Combat) aren't those respective specs' masteries. They *are* unique to the class and, like mastery, they're granted when you choose that tree. But technically Mut's mastery is Potent Poisons and Combat's is Main Gauche, neither of which is being touched yet by 4.2 (oddly).
Dec 29th 2010 2:30PM I nominate me for this award.
Oct 21st 2010 1:19PM see that, (cutaia)? a HOUSE metaphor!
Oct 21st 2010 1:09PM Er, sorry, I'ma stipud -- it's a Survival talent, but it's on the first tier of thingies, so it's easy for any level-80 (or 85) hunter to grab.
Oct 21st 2010 1:06PM @d503: Don't forget that BM hunters have Improved Serpent Sting, which deals instant damage equal to 15%/30% of what SS's normal DoT would be. Pretty ass-kicky for burst damage.
Oct 18th 2010 5:15PM Not for nothin, but DBM's warnings are pretty customizable. Even if a raid leader requires you have it installed, if you feel like the software is somehow emasculating you with its motherly reminders that Saurfang's about to vomit forth another round of blood beasts, you could always disable the warnings that make you feel like your e-peen's growing smaller.
Oct 16th 2010 3:01AM Don't forget, profligate pilots, that you can get Master Flying at a faction discount (4K at exalted) from Valiance Keep if you're alliance or Wackyhappyville if you're horde. (I forget the name.)
Apr 21st 2010 4:04PM You think Russian? I was thinking more Latvi-eston-bania-roation. With some Balki Bartokomous thrown in.
Apr 20th 2010 2:42PM @Beruza: I don't think it's change that most QQers are afraid of; I think it's the imminent demise of their superiority complex. The most annoying forum posters I see are people who believe they have studied the mechanics of their classes so intently that the numbers are physically inscribed on their brains; they cling to the sense that, in this one area of their lives at least, they are the undisputed kings of knowledge and awesomeness, and all others can bow to their uberness or be beaten mercilessly into the ground by their giant epeens. Cataclysm threatens to upend all of that -- for a time at least, they will have to relearn their classes. Just like all the rest of us. That's gotta be a terrifying prospect for them.
