Aug 23rd 2011 3:51AM In normal modes you can do any fight in either spec (even Baleroc).
Hard modes are a different matter though. Due to how Blizzard have designed the fights in Firelands (and to be fair in T11 as well) you need as many raid cooldowns as possible to win. PW:Barrier jsut happens to be an amazing cooldown which if it's timed correctly can sometimes last long enough for 2 hits of whatever AOE pulse you're trying to avoid.
Mar 25th 2011 10:04AM What we do is very simple. We have 7 healers, 2 on the tanks and 1 for each group. To deal with the dreaded "3 slime scenario" we have a very simple rule. When healing people in your group, if you can't get them all up with an AOE heal then heal your group in alphabetical order. That way if someone else has capacity to cross heal yuor group you don't all heal the same guy.
If you're a Priest on this fight then it's an absolute piece of cake. One PoH from a well geared priest can bring an entire group above 10k health (with PoH glyph of course - everyone has this right?)
It worked brilliantly for us and we got this down on heroic within 5 pulls.
Feb 24th 2011 8:45AM I was going to post along similar lines. It's probably going to be a tent peg left behind by Rhonin or something.
Feb 21st 2011 9:27AM We have a standard screenshot but I try and come up with some kind of pun for our newsfeed on the guild website. The most recent being our Cho'gall kill which was "We sure CHOed him!".
It'a actually my favourite part about killing new bosses.
Mar 17th 2008 8:51AM I was in a fantastic run through Heroic SH yesterday, admitedly we had the guilds two best geared tanks (myself and one other) and a good healer but it made it an absoloute breeze. We simply both used a mix of DPS and tanking gear and brought a warlock and a mage to help nuke things.
It was the smoothest run I've ever been in.
Mar 6th 2008 7:13AM You'd need to find 10 Hunters who actually know how to play their class well. That's not going to happen on one server...
Aug 21st 2007 6:28PM Anything other than T-Mobile or Vodafone in the UK and there's no way in hell I'm getting one unless they offer an unlimited data tariff alongside it. I had a HTC Wizard (XDA Mini S) on O2 and it was as good as useless with O2s data plan. I didn't get the best from that phone until I switched to T-Mobile and got unlimited data transfer.
The novelty will wear off very quick if people have to pay £5/mb to use their shiny new toy.
Jul 25th 2007 3:22PM Can anyone tell me what the salary is for the European GM position? I'm tempted to apply (even with the relocation to Paris) but I can't be bothered with the hassle of going through the process only to be disappointed with the pay...
Jun 20th 2007 12:01PM I remember a time when Apple didn't milk their customers for every penny. Like when I bought my 3rd gen iPod and it came with a dock, a remote and a leather case. It's pretty hard to imagine them doing something like that nowadays :(
May 10th 2007 4:56PM I just wish I knew why Lenovo felt the need to change the old style Thinkpad layout. There is no reason I can think of why they couldn't have a full size Return key, it's a little thing but it really bugs me on laptops :(
