Aug 8th 2010 4:07PM "I just imagine a fire mage, sprinting around spamming Scorch and Fire Blast, inserting a free, instant Pyroblast whenever Hot Streak procs, getting Blazing Speed, protecting themselves with Mage Ward and escaping with frequent Blazing Speed procs. Oh, and you can't kill them either, thanks to Cauterize. I'm sure I'm prepared to live in a world where fire is our PvP tree, guys. But I'm prepared to visit that world, and I'm not booking a return flight."
i honestly cried tears of joy when i read this article... after leveling up as pure fire this new talent tree is going to be the best thing i've ever played... *happy tears*
Jun 18th 2010 7:16PM Unpredictability leads to both victory and death. it's up to us fire mages and our skill to decide which we go to.
Jun 18th 2010 7:14PM @PKthe13thvah: please. Fire mage's aren't like locks. locks are like mages. only with less direct damage spells and more DoTs. Destro is basicly for those players who can't play fire mage without a pet because they can't throttle their agro back enough.
Apr 16th 2010 1:48AM *eyetwitch* that was not funny at all... *growls and prepares to burn all warlocks on my mage's server with firey spells of pain*
Apr 11th 2010 3:40AM oh i know. i play clothis period ('lock lvl49, mage lvl47, priest lvl25) and while on my 'lock i notice that only about 1 in 20 healers complain that i actually use Hellfire. i usually get complaints that i'm not doing enough dps and to switch... o.0 and on my priest all the old world dungeons are simple healing. Power Word: Shield(with glyph that makes it heal you for each hit) and Renew on DPS and same for tank unless they're taking more damage then renew can keep up with then i break out the Flash Heal. other than that i sit back and joke with my guildies about how easy healing in the lowbie dungeons is.
