Are SPriests, Moonkins and Ele Shaman going to get ripped of gear because they aren't healing, but still use "healing" gear?
I can't count how many times I've been yelled at *BY PRIESTS* that my SPriest doesn't need spirit. >X-D

Feb 11th 2011 1:58PM If you're too lazy to go back and earn the reps back in Classic or BC, then you don't need the title.
You don't need to be 'the Insane' to have found and exalted with 50 reps these days, you just have to go out of your way to do those old dailies and quest chains.
Achievements aren't freebies, they are something that requires some amount of work, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.
My advice, spend your time earning the old reps instead of complaining.

Why Blizz said no more was probably because of the number of them that drop out there in the world, but there's still no reason (save for time spent to code them into the game) there aren't any anymore.
With the number of cross-profession things out there these days, it even makes more sense than ever.
The base would probably still be a Blacksmith-crafted rod, the headpiece a JC-carved gem, all lovingly fused together by that enchanter.
