Oct 5th 2011 8:58AM I could write a druid column. I'm pretty sure I have a "so you just hit 85 and want to tank" 2-3 article series for druids that would cover gearing and basics of abilities, and skills to work on as you get more comfortable.
Aug 29th 2011 3:52PM Personally, I'd rather see the huge jump that is 84-85 decreased. Oh, and make it so you don't need to do 92 quests in Deepholm to get access to shoulder enchants. It is not that deepholm is bad, its that you have to do it with every alt nearly to the end to get shoulder enchants. So easily fixed by making shoulder enchants be like head enchants: BoA.
Jan 21st 2011 11:54AM Yeah - when I first saw it in game my response was 'Wow, that's a gorgeous drake. Wait, that's the vial? Now I must have one.'
Apr 12th 2010 9:40AM Our 10-man raid group has been running a net profit all through Ulduar, Toc, and ICC.
We expect everyone to show up gemmed and enchanted, with appropriate flasks or elixirs. The guild bank provides abyss crystals and fish feasts. All shards go to the guild bank, as do any sellable BoE items or patterns not useable by an active raider. The raid leaders auction house any thing not used and put the money in to the group bank. From this bank we buy fish feasts and anything else needed. When we get to a certain threshold, we send out dividends. I think we've paid out over 5k gold to each active raider over the course of raiding in LK, and possibly as much as 10k per.
Admittedly, we are expecting people to be prepared. But that preparation is rewarded both with boss kills and in our case gold dividends. Being prepared dramatically decreases wipes.
For context, we are a 10man-only group currently glasschewing on Lich King. We have our proto-drake from Ulduar and Starcaller title. We completed heroic-ToC10.
