Feb 15th 2011 4:39PM I get knocked all the time for wearing PvP gear on my bear tank. People seem to forget that the vicious gear is BIS pre-raid.
comparing these two, the PvP gloves give you:
90 armor, 53 agi, 65 stamina
PvE gloves give you:
1 crit, 130 mastery. That's a no-brainer in favor of the PvP gloves...before set bonuses.
Dec 22nd 2010 11:46AM You say that you can use focus to see who the enemy is healing. Do that many decent PvP healers actually target their healing target? I had just assumed they all mouseover heal, and use their target as a way to watch a castbar.
Nov 15th 2010 1:18PM I want 5 minutes of my life back.
Aug 2nd 2010 11:32AM I imagine the answer to this will be based off the WLK release info at this time - but this was during a short sabbatical for me, so I don't know.
What is the expected availability of a digital download for the expansion on release day? Should I plan on pre-ordering, going to a store, or is downloading a safe bet? I'll probably be working that first day, so as long as I could finish it by late evening, that'd be good enough.
Jul 28th 2010 1:24PM Sweet, I can do this on day 2 too!
Jul 16th 2010 10:01AM I'm concerned about gearing as discipline. For a gheal spec to really be viable, you need to stack haste. For shield spam, you barely need any haste. They're basically forcing us to pick a style of healing (tank for raid), and gear for it. We'll need to re-gear for the other. At least now disc has stupidly efficient flash heals, so they can tank heal without haste...
Jun 14th 2010 4:56PM Why don't drops follow groups?
I have a mage friend that took about a year off - he really needs gear. He's good, so our guild want to gear him up. Under your system, we could make a raid of 2 tanks and 8 clothies, go tear through ICC10, and almost guarantee that he got an upgrade or two off every boss. The system is way too easy to game.
Jun 11th 2010 9:23AM The mouse looks huge in pictures. In practice, it's tiny. My only complaint - they really could've made it 20% larger. I very occasionally fat finger buttons in a panic (I'll pain sup myself instead of holy novaing to get that rogue I just saw out of stealth), but it's pretty uncommon.. It'll fit anyone but those with giant hands - mine are on the large side, and it works great.
Jun 10th 2010 2:04PM This is the exact setup I use for healing, and it's incredible. Everything critical is bound to one of my hands without any type of moving. If only I had more macro slots per character...
