Dec 14th 2011 2:26PM I thank Blizz for fixing this problem. Running my hunter main and watching 2 of the polearms go to DKs made me very sad. Now they just have to fix how the drops go. Ran the second half of the LFR last night before bed to see if I could get another shot at the polearm. Saw 6 tokens drop from the first 2 bosses, every single token was DK Rogue Mage Druid. Really? Now I can understand that it should drop a little (very little) more often, but all 6? Same way ive seen the same weapon drop from Deathwing more than once in the same raid. They need to find a way to let a more of a selection of things drop. Its almost feels like punishment to keep seeing the same things drop that cant be used by a majority of the raid. Ran the first half of LFR this morning, the group had 5 hunter 7 druids, no priests and no locks and 2 Pallys. Yet we saw the Pally Priest Lock token drop twice from the same boss.
Yeah, I (like most others) love to get shiny new epic loot. But I would be happier to see it balance to the make-up of the raid. Its giving me flash backs of 25 man ICC where we (as a guild raid team) saw so many pally priest lock tokens that our pally tank had his 4 set before the warrior tank got his first token.
Dec 14th 2011 2:12PM So you want a weapon ONLY for feral druids? is that what your telling us? Would you like then to go back so you can lose the roll to another Warrior or DK? My main is a hunter and I had lost 2 rolls on the polearm to DKs who thought it was a cool effect that it raised their size. Im sorry for you that blizz has made a weapon that is so far and away the BiS for hunters too (the LFR polearm is better than the normal mode staff btw). But since hunters have been forced into only having a polearm or staff your just gonna have to suck it up on this one.
Apr 7th 2011 12:52PM There is a very simple way to practice your mouse turning skills. Head to an area that contains lots of trees or other close together objects. Get on you ground mount and use it like a slalom course. Simply hold down your W key and the right mouse button and zig zag around the trees and objects. It will give you a great feel for how much movement you need to get your toon to where you want to go. It will also allow you to get the feel of rapid change of direction.
Feb 7th 2011 8:46PM It can be up to me what mark the tank uses. I am very capable of asking the tank to mark my CC targets with a square. There is nothing wrong with a tank using a differnt mark because they are more used to seeing it, but please understand that the (unwritten) standard mark most people use is square. If you use a different mark, cool, just remember to tell the people so they are sure of the mark you want them to CC.
Feb 7th 2011 3:21PM No mention of Wyvern Sting because not every hunter is SV. After the patch I plan on going back to MM so I will lose WS and gain SilS. Its not fair to tell tanks and raid leaders to expect the hunter to do something that they cant.
Feb 7th 2011 1:16PM I see lots of comments about healing hunter pets. Please remember that a little heal goes a long way on our pets. They can get a much bigger heal than you would be giving to a player, so its very well worth it to toss a quick heal on a pet. Your little heal along with our little heal along with the pets healing bonus = alive, dpsing and happy pets.
Feb 6th 2011 1:46AM I Just wanna give two thumbs way, way up for the Dr. Strangelove pic.
Jan 17th 2011 6:25PM isnt this supposed to be a hunter article? Twice a week we are supposed to be able to read your musings on the hunter class, tactics, shot rotation, ect..
This is just you QQing about people QQing to you about the PTR.
Such a shame that we get our valued hunter article only twice a week (not complaining about that, im sure your quite busy), and you decide to waste one of them on this.
The only greater shame is running out of ale, you havent run out of ale too have you?
