Breakfast Topic: What I won't miss {WoW}
Jun 28th 2010 9:42PM ST and BRD are amazing dungeons with epic stories waiting to be explored. I think the nonlinear design is amazing. LFD has made people lazy. The whole point of the game was the sense of adventure and exploration, a journey into the unknown. Some dungeons like BRD are filled with multitudes of characters, quests and events, waiting to be discovered.
I remember the first time I joined a UBRS group, it didn't feel like just doing an instance, but rather a band of adventurers, not: gimme my badges and let me out.
Let me sum up dungeons made under blizzards new enlightened design philosophy:
There's a tube with doodads. Aoe down all the mobs. Then you get some loot.
Exciting.
